I watched Black Doves on Netflix and there was Keira Knightley in my mustard yellow scarf. I bought it from M&S about two years ago, which must have been about when it was filmed. I don't look very much like Keira Knightley at all, but now, in my head, every time I put my scarf on, I look exactly like her and am on a spy mission!

I had a really pretty floral top when I was in my early 20's, just a high street brand. I never wore it again after seeing Pauline Fowler (Eastenders character in her lare 50's) wearing the same one 😂

Mine too. Only mine was about 25 years. Also my Alex Monroe bee necklace makes fairly regular appearances.

Paddy Doherty had the same curtains as me in his house in big fat gypsy weddings.

Black and white swirly pattern, I never looked at them quite the same after, they went from opulent to trashy all in one episode.

The other way around, but I wore the Kate Davies Owls jumper my late DM knitted for me on a TV quiz show and the internet knitting community, which overlaps significantly with the quiz nerd community, all squeaked "SHE'S WEARING MY OWLS JUMPER!" simultaneously.

I also have a charity shop J Crew silk shirt with an owls print that Alyson Hannigan wore on How I Met Your Mother. This is pure coincidence and does not in fact reflect an unhealthy owls fixation in my wardrobe.

I spotted that Tosh in Shetland had the same Didrikson mac as mine, although different colour. Think the waterproof would be handy up there!

I only watch posh tv. Downton had my dinner service.

In one of the earlier series the mum in Outnumbered wore a top which I had from Next, and even longer ago I remember seeing a character on one of the soaps (east Enders?) in a shirt I had from M&S. it put me off wearing it but was actually something I really liked.

And this sounds bad but I recognised a couple of items of decor from my old family home in the Trotter family flat on Only Fools.

NC for this as it is very specific but my friend sold some old tiles from her house to a props buyer and they turned up months late on a popular recent TV drama.

A few years after I got married I spotted a character in casualty wearing the same dress for their wedding.

A long time ago my mum gave a blouse she had made to a jumble sale. It was quite a loud pattern with a long pointed collar. A few months later, Hilda Ogden was wearing an identical blouse and appeared in it whenever she was in her "posh" outfit.
Around the same time, Annie Walker appeared in the same M&S dress that my mum had just bought.

Robin from Strike and Allison from Ghosts have both worn stuff I have. I actually said to DH “I really like the way her character dresses.” and he looked at me like I was nuts and replied “isn’t that your coat she’s wearing….?”

My dad used to own the boat from the Venice boat chase in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, still had the bullet holes in the windscreen. DS now has the Lego version.

Our ancient mugs from Woolworths were on an episode of Luther. I seem to remember that whoever owned them was a bit down on their luck🤣 We still have a couple of them. White with a purple geometric pattern. They have gone full circle and look pretty cool now in a retro kind of way.
