I hope no one minds me starting a new thread. I couldn't see one.

I’ve not had a birthday voucher, but noticed when I was trying to update my card details on my account that they didn’t have my DOB.

Re the father's day kit - it's not that bad - I got it for myself. The nordic cedar fragrance is very nice and unisex, as is the Tudor. The face powder is good. Also rate the grapefruit cleanser. Honestly it's better than some women's kit's they've had and it's cheaper too as the mother's day one was around £30 or so dearer (sex discrimination - clearly!

IDontHateRainbows · 08/06/2025 21:19

Disappointingly, not many scent edits this year. Last year was a lot better and also there was the precious potions kit which included vyrao witchy woo. Maybe that was brought out more around halloween? But it seems there was a decent beauty kit or scent kit every couple of months last year and this years offering has been tame in comparison, I've not even liked the two women's beauty kits enough to purchase.

MrsBnow12 · 08/06/2025 21:57

@IDontHateRainbows I don’t think it helped that the 4 Cult Beauty and the Space NK edits came out at the same time and were not spaced out. The John Lewis one was also nice, can’t think of there has been any scent only edits this year. In addition, none of the other GWP’s have been amazing for scent.

IDontHateRainbows · 09/06/2025 07:45

You'd think it's a win win for the companies as so many brands I'd never even heard of before these scent kits, ds and durga mat prem and goldfield and banks. Like the Addy Cals, the brands do this for PR Liberty make money as they're so popular and we all get some lovely perfume at a cheaper price than paying for a full bottle.

Edited

Thank you for the tip off. I’ve just ordered it for myself too. I love the cleanser and the blue bag. The rest will go on eBay.

How do people get through so much scent? I have a couple that I like and don’t really ever use any of the samples that I get sent as I try them once and decide they’re not as nice as what I’ve already got. Even the ones I like I don’t wear every day. I’m doing this wrong aren’t I?

I can’t speak for anyone else but I wear it every day, a quick spray is part of my morning routine. They tend to be seasonal, I have summer and winter scents. I get through a lot.

Growlybear83 · 09/06/2025 09:31

@BIossomtoesYes I wear it every day too. I have a good spray after my morning shower, then again early evening , especially if I’m going out to work, and then again when I go to bed. I’ve ended up with a huge collection of perfume after several years of advent calendars and perfume sets, and I get through loads.

I wear scent every day pretty much, it gives me a boost, even if I am just mooching about at home

MrsBnow12 · 09/06/2025 22:38

That’s an easy pass for me, and no way that is worth £783, closer to £250/£300

WindsurfingDreams · 09/06/2025 22:42

I can't see it online?
I don't think there's enough in it that I definitely want, but there's a few bits I was thinking of buying anyway

LightandBreezy · 09/06/2025 22:46

Yeah that's odd @sparkle58 - adding up the products you've listed comes to £229! Hard no for me anyway, nothing of interest really, that Malin and Goetz deodorant is awful

LightandBreezy · 09/06/2025 22:47

That's not including the compact mirror though -maybe it's solid gold? 😂

AprilLady · 09/06/2025 22:55

I’m guessing it’s a typo and the 7 should be a 2 - so “worth” £283 and a £203 saving….

Agree it doesn’t look that exciting.

Yes that makes more sense. It's definitely not £700 worth of stuff!

BakeOffRewatch · 09/06/2025 23:14

I love the Liberty little quirks. Makes me feel like I’m buying from people not AI generated stuff!

I spritz it on multiple times a day.full on addict!

OvaHere · 10/06/2025 07:55

I really like the bag and the mirror. I love that pattern. Nothing in it I want though and a couple of things I know I don't like.

Me too, really like the bag and print but I am absolutely not the target for a festival edit!

JustLikeThatBluebird · 10/06/2025 08:31

The new kit has 'Non-customer facing' stated so I'm guessing this isn't supposed to be up yet?

abnerbrownsdressinggown · 10/06/2025 09:12

It's not for me, but I do think it is well judged for trendy media types who love Liberty who are off to Glastonbury.

With a saving of £260 underneath it so I don’t know where the £708 saving in the description comes from!
