I hope no one minds me starting a new thread. I couldn't see one.

The credit’s real money? That’s exactly what I love about it.

I am interested in any other subscription boxes people recommend, Mintd is too pricey for me and I already get Lookfantastic along with Liberty.

There's one called TOYL which is £39.99 per month. They have a youtube channel with a reveal every month. It's not really appealed to me so far.
https://toyl.co.uk

The last couple of Glamour boxes have seemed decent. They're bi monthly for £29 or £145 annually (£24 per box). The Feb/Mar box had a full size Trinny cleanser. They claim at least 5 full size products in each box and sometimes bonus ones.

I'm considering replacing my LF subscription with this one as I find monthly a bit too often and sometimes underwhelming (not as much as Glossybox was though!). As Glamour is bi-monthly it's around the same price.

Only thing that stops me is that subscribers get good deals on the LF website, discounts on edits etc. as I'm sure you know.

I refuse to allow myself more than 2 subscriptions running at the same time so we'll see. Going to monitor Glamour for a while and see if the boxes continue to be decent.

I have a couple of the trinny eye creams and really like them! Blend well, build well. I have greasy eyelids but they are fine with eye primer.
I might get a couple more with my credit, I seem to have built it right up!!

"Spending the credit never feels like real money which is lethal"

I know exactly what you mean even better when it's points/birthday/advent calendar drawer replacement voucher!

Do you mind @Gintime74 leaving us a little review of the eyeshadow cream
when you've tried it please?

Also I passed on my Trish McEvoy Black Eyeliner (in the Advent) to my Mum as I don't tend to wear black eyeliner.
DM absolutely loves it & says it's the best eyeliner she's ever worn will be buying a replacement when it's finished.

Well i have been trying the trinny makeup for a few days now-
Verdict-
I love the eye shadows , blend really well, stay on well.
Lip to cheek- not for me, left a powder residue and dried my lips out.
Miracle blur- i swear it made my eyebags more wrinkled, very disappointing.
I think i will stick with the trish mcevoy.

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 12/05/2025 22:13

Thank you for your review @Gintime74

I predict a Trinny Eye2Eye or 2 will be coming my way soon (well as soon as I can decide which colours I'm getting!)

MulberryPeony · 13/05/2025 07:48

Another who has spent credit on Trinny. I’ve cancelled/paused for the next box as I have stash to get through so don’t need credit building up at the moment.

TragicMuse · 13/05/2025 09:41

I used some tad ding drops on my face this morning! Slightly nervous but hopeful for a slight glow!!

I also have the Gatineaux fake tan which I’m going to use on my legs. Has anyone used it? How long does it take to dry?

MulberryPeony · 13/05/2025 17:32

I’ve found the tanning drops (Votary) to be great for a glow up. I mix with jojoba to make sure I don’t get streaks.

BCSurvivor · 22/05/2025 09:29

I've just got excited when I saw the email for a new Liberty kit, but then I realised it was a men's kit.
No offence to any dads, but I was really hoping for a nice summer edit :)

JustLikeThatBluebird · 22/05/2025 09:48

I'm hoping for a nice summer edit too. I actually often like the men's kits but there's not enough to interest me in this one. I currently have the Malin+Goetz cleanser and I'm trying to use it up then never buy it again 😂

jay55 · 22/05/2025 12:55

Was the fragrance edit that expensive before?

Was the fragrance edit that expensive before?

Yes, although BD members get 10% off.

I think they mis judged their customer base with this one, not many of us have a spared £400 lying around to spend on random perfume, the smaller sets with the travel sizes in were far better and an opportunity to try new brands/ scents without making a big commitment .

Doubleraspberry · 22/05/2025 19:20

To be honest, that fragrance edit looks like a bunch of free samples - and I'm not interested in paying £400 for those.

There are a couple of decent ones. The vanilla powder and vilhelm would intereet me. But too much of a gamble on the ones I'm unfamiliar with. The cynical part of me think it's libertys excuse to get rid of the stock they can't sell. So it'll be in the edit for a reason.

jay55 · 22/05/2025 12:55

Was the fragrance edit that expensive before?

Yes and they released it 1 or 2 weeks before Xmas. It was strange and I remember thinking most people would have finished their Christmas shopping by that point. I think someone suggested it was created for the useless but rich husbands who would be shopping on Christmas eve!

Another one due soon I think?!

I would LOVE a bit of Trinny skincare, especially the new Take Back Time Elixir. Even a sample would be good!!

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 08/06/2025 05:13

I'd like a Trinny eyeshadow in the next drop & a nice bath foam or shower gel or soap.
A detox shampoo would be good too.
Plus another fragrance!

MrsBnow12 · 08/06/2025 07:36

I am hoping for a scent edit, the 2024 one was released in early June and it was closely followed by the Sun, Set Glow one.

JustLikeThatBluebird · 08/06/2025 09:35

I really want a scent edit too. This month would be great as I have a birthday voucher to spend :)

Topsyturvey10 · 08/06/2025 09:36

I’d love a scent edit, like the one from last year that wasn’t ridiculously expensive and had a nice selection of scents.
When is our next box due?

OvaHere · 08/06/2025 10:16

I'm also keenly watching out for a scent edit this month.

@Topsyturvey10 I think the next box is July.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a birthday voucher from Liberty. My birthday is on my account. Do they email it to you?

JustLikeThatBluebird · 08/06/2025 17:18

@Addictedtobeauty Yes, every year since I joined the Beauty Drop I've had a £5 birthday voucher by email.

BIossomtoes · 08/06/2025 17:39

I had to ask for mine last year.
