I hope no one minds me starting a new thread. I couldn't see one.

I really dislike that Malin and Goetz deodrant - doesn't work in my opinion! Laughing at the value mistake - although maybe the mirror and wash bag are actually worth £500!! hahaha

BCSurvivor · 10/06/2025 10:01

On the Liberty Early Access email it says ''products worth £260'' so I think the £700 plus value is a definite typo.
I think the £67.50 early access price is fair, but I'm just not excited about anything in the kit, except the Ultra Violette and maybe the eau de parfum.

JustLikeThatBluebird · 10/06/2025 10:06

There's not much in there for me, shame as I really was fancying a new kit. I hate the Malin+Goetz deodorant. I've had it in a few GWPs and always give it to DH or sell it on Vinted as it's no match for my armpits.

I quite like the mini size of the deodorant as it's dead easy to take when traveling, it's tiny.

My smelly teenage son tried the regular one and I can confirm it didn't work so well on those pubertal armpits!

The deodorant didn't work for me either, I wanted to love it but it was useless!

abnerbrownsdressinggown · 10/06/2025 11:20

I also hated the deoderant - it did not work on peri-menopausal armpits - instead I just got a lovely stale sweat smell with eucalyptus top notes!

OvaHere · 10/06/2025 13:20

I really like the purple SDJ balm deodorant. I've brought it away with me to try. The scent is lovely. I don't perspire loads under the arms even in heat so I can't speak on that. Realistically it probably isn't heavy duty.

I've tried a M&G mini but not keen on the scent.

TreesinthePark · 10/06/2025 20:47

This kit isn't exciting me to be honest. I've had no emails about it and not seen anything on Instagram either. I check this thread regularly though to make sure I never miss out!

The only product that appeals is the UV mist so I might give myself "permission" to buy that with a discount code since I've been good and passed on the kit.

BCSurvivor · 13/06/2025 15:40

Has anyone bought the festival kit?
I'm curious about the fragrance as it's not a brand I'm familiar with.
Also wondering how bright the eye shadows are?

Housewife2010 · 13/06/2025 15:51

I really like the M&G Eucalyptus deodorant. I bought a double pack in the Christmas sales. I have a few Suqqu quads and they tend to be buildable rather than strongly pigmented.

Popplebop · 13/06/2025 20:30

@BCSurvivor i have ordered it! Unlike everyone else i get on well with the deodorant and use it all the time. I also had £15 of vouchers to use. Will update when it arrives.

nolongerpetitebleu · 13/06/2025 20:41

I’ve bought it. I had vouchers to use plus Blue Light discount and it looked interesting enough for the price. Arriving tomorrow so will report back.

violetmondays · 13/06/2025 20:49

I really like the idea of a festival kit but as I won’t be going to any I don’t really need a lot of the stuff in the kit so I’m passing on this one. I also react awfully to the M&G deoderant which is strange as I don’t normally react to skincare (unless it’s cheap). I had a full size one from another kit so my husband lucked in.

nolongerpetitebleu · 14/06/2025 15:16

My festival kit just arrived. It’s probably my favourite one for a couple of years. The eye palette is especially gorgeous. Happy birthday to me!

I didnt know that liberty do blue light discount. Ive been missing out. May need to buy this now.

BCSurvivor · 16/06/2025 11:52

I've just caved and ordered the kit, mainly because the bag is gorgeous, love Sunday Riley and Ultra Violette and am curious about the Sand Service :)

Unfortunately you can't stack with beauty drop so if you already get the 10% off for being a BD member, you can't reduce it again

Ah, sorry to get you excited about that. I’ve stopped my Beauty Drop account (for now!) so that will be why it worked for me.

OvaHere · 17/06/2025 11:37

I think it's nice if you like the Trinny products but unfortunately I'm not a fan of her skincare.

Was also hoping for a scent edit but have a feeling one is not coming. I am wondering if they may do a separate scent calendar this xmas as those have been very popular for other stores.

MrsBnow12 · 17/06/2025 11:57

Another one who is passing, I will try pick up the candle via Vinted but nothing else interests me, I love the bath oil but have a few spare so don’t need another.
Still hoping for a scent edit or even a fragrance advent as @OvaHere suggested.

Mystery2345 · 17/06/2025 12:04

Re scent kit, there's a fragrance lounge edit for £425 - is that new news? Apologies if not!

violetmondays · 17/06/2025 12:07

I haven't tried Trinny skincare before, I was tempted by this kit - what is it that people don't like about it?
