I hope no one minds me starting a new thread. I couldn't see one.

I feel the same! I use a cleanser in the morning and whenever I shower, but at night I just use a face halo which gets rid of everything quickly in one fell swoop! Usually because I've stayed up too late and worry I won't get enough sleep.

Does anyone remember when the GWP usually comes out? I’ve got quite a few things to replenish but thought I’d hold out until then!

@Alabas I think there's been a GWP in May the last few years.

Thanks, I just checked my emails as I don’t think I can last until May! There was one the end of February last year, so I might try and hold off until then!!

My box arrived out of nowhere today!

It does seem slightly… sparse. But I like the products.

One question though. Is this a reasonable amount of perfume missing from the sample bottle? I haven’t used it at all myself but it looks pretty low for what is already a tiny amount.

I haven’t used mine yet and it’s filled to the same point. I’d guess that it contains the full 1.5ml amount of perfume but is in a 2ml sized vial which is why it looks like there’s some missing. That’s quite standard with perfume samples in my experience – I’ve received seemingly half-full Maison Margiela Replica samples before but that’s because they give you a stingy 1.2ml of perfume in a bigger vial!

I've had an email from liberty about 'valentine beauty' and sadly, no beauty bag or box. I guess they are still pushing the hall of fame one.
The ridiculously overpriced fragrance lounge edit seems to have disappeared, wonder if they got many takers. It was such a random selection of perfumes for £425. If money was no object I'd have probably bought it but sadly, it is

I have used nearly everything in the drop. I can’t tell if the shampoo/conditioner are any good as my hair is so lovely since using the molecular thingy in my Space NK calendar that I could probably wash it in fairy liquid and it’d still be swishy

perfume is a bit weird but less weird than Hera Reigns which smells like tar pits. I prefer the OG Liberty scents that they launched with

eye mask did nothing as per all eye masks I use but it was relaxing

I’m actually trying to use things up now as my stash makes me look unhinged since I tidied up and arranged the bottles in rows in order of size

Thanks for new thread! I think the perfume is nice but not so in love with it that I need to buy it. The box smelled amazing when I opened it but I can’t pinpoint what product it was that I could smell. My hair might be a bit fine for the s&c but I’ll give it a go, that and body wash are great for gym bag (which is where I should be taking them as you know, January… but haven’t managed it yet!).

My box also just appeared- quite late so I’ve been dodging the threads! Anyway, I love the perfume, body wash and the face wash…these alone make it a happy box for me 😊.
I’m struggling to find out if the Charlotte shampoo and conditioner is actually likely to be worth opening as everything seems to point towards it being for Afro hair or similarly curly/textured. Mine is straight medium thickness and I always use ‘normal’ shampoos rather than ones for dry or oily hair. Any advice welcomed before I open and then waste them?
Eye mask would have to be amazing to have any effect on the horrors lurking beneath my peepers!!! But I live in hope…😂😂

I’m using the Charlotte Mensah shampoo and conditioner, it’s nice, it lathers up well and I think it just has added oily stuff so hair doesn’t dry out - I don’t think it would weight down hair. It’s just very gentle like colour protect, low, cream or no foam shampoos. It smells amazing to me. The stuff about what hair type is suitable for is all marketing isn’t it, identifying a problem to solve. It cleans your hair and is nice to use I think!

I have greasy hair and have found it doesn't work for me as too much oil - but it's rare to find a product that works for everyone and I'm glad others like it

That decides it then- I’m trying the shampoo and conditioner later as I’m in a sucker for a nice scent! Might just go easy on the conditioner on first try. Thanks @BakeOffRewatch and @IDontHateRainbows

And I can now report that the shampoo and conditioner are very nice indeed on my straight, greying slightly dry ends type hair! So pleased I asked and didn’t just get rid of them. I only used a tiny, fat pea sized amount as both are rich but I can see me happily using them once or twice a week depending on how much hydration my hair needs. I’ll use my other shampoos etc in between.
So if anyone was put off because the brand hype is all about Afro/ curly but you, like me, don’t have that, then don’t be as they’ve worked well for me. I imagine they are amazing on Afro/ curly hair though too

Just been sent an email "The future of LBTY. Beauty is in your hands" with a link to a survey to complete - just filled it out and it gives you some promos to look at for the new LBTY beauty range (not sure if they're actually final products or if it's just pure market research) but worth taking the survey to have a look at what might be on the way.

Products look beautiful but I think if it's like when they launched the purfume, it'll be a really high price point which would put me off as they're not well established with beauty products.

I do remember the LBTY eye patch cream in a previous box was very good though!

The survey is full of typos and also quite badly designed (research geek). But yes interesting to see what they have planned.

I think they need to be really careful about what their brand is all about. Some of the florals (makeup brushes) verge towards the Cath kidston…horrors. Some of the ideas look nice and fit with their brand positioning and others are just bizarre. But if they jump to ideas first without nailing what the brand is all about they’ll end up with exactly this kind of confused mish mash.

I feel quite bad saying this but you know when you go in WHSmith and see those stationary ranges of pens, pencil cases, water bottles, folders, keyrings etc, all using the same print? The ideas remind me of those (especially the mascara). Not that I have anything against those at all, I just don't think the packaging design is luxury enough or reflects their market or price point. And it is quite mixed, some of the products don't look like they're part of the same range.
