Look Fantastic Advent Calendar Daily Opening

Hey, is there anyone out there that wants to join me in a daily opening of the Look Fantastic calendar? Day One looks to be a good start!

I'm pleased with the body wash.

I love different kinds of shower gel and this smells great.

I also have the Next AC and got a roll-on hi lighter today.
I think I put too much on my face as DD asked me why I was looking like a robot 🤣

Quite pleased with today's body wash. I'll definitely give it a try. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Hope it's ok to join? Ive got a bit of a hybrid LF calendar, mainly the original contents but I also worked out the drawers I really didn't fancy and replaced them with other individual items I liked the look of from other beauty ACs (bought from Vinted.)
I've been away so got to open doors 1 and 2 today, both the LF gifts. I am super pleased with both, I think the Medik8 looks excellent and so good to get a full size on day one. I will definitely use the body wash as part of overnight toiletries I have at my BFs.
So - off to a great start, bring on the other 23 days 👀

@SciFiFan it doesn't look like the voucher can be used for any of the face masks. I scanned the QR code and it's come up with a selection of tools, lowest cost currently £113 so down to £83 with the voucher. I'll be passing on a Foreo purchase I think.

Opened mine this eve and jumped straight in the shower with it. I like it a lot, definitely a good one for me. Scent is lovely and feel extra clean 😊

morning all... nice to get a 2 in 1 this morning. Haven't tried the product before so looking forward to giving it a go.

I agree, nice to have 2 products without splitting them over 2 days. I haven't used these before but looking forward to trying them.

I also tried the This Works shower gel this morning and it's nice. Not as nice as eg Elemis, Espa etc but still nice.

Another decent drawer! A 'twofer' that will also be good for my overnight toiletries.
Those drawers are helluva flimsy though... nearly ripped today's pulling it out.

I'm going to join in - I've recently started to a Look Fantastic subscription and decided to go all in on the advent calendar too. Was a bit baffled by the toner as ive never really used it before, but I will give it a go. Happy with the shampoo and conditioner primarily because I know how to use them!

Regarding the toner - You double cleanse (If wearing make up, single cleanse if you aren’t) Then the toner goes on cotton wool and swipe all over your face. Wait a minute and then serum and moisturiser. I don’t tend to use serum often (Maybe I should?!) But will use eye cream and moisturiser.

Give it a week or two and you should notice a positive difference. Medik8 is a great brand.

Today's is my favourite so far!! Never used the ordinary products before but people seem to rave about them so excited to use!

Day 4 brings the first of the substitutes I pre-arranged, as I wasn't keen on the LF contents for today.
A travel sized Grown Alchemist Balancing Toner.
Clearly I paid no thought to the overall opening order when I did my substitutions, as I wouldn't have planned another toner so soon after Day 1's (which btw I am absolutely loving). Not tried this one but I do just love a toner and am interested to try this brand, so it will definitely be used.

Very pleased with today's gift - can't wait to start using. Need to go wash my face and use the toner and the eye serum. going go check on TikTok for any reviews of it...

So I'm back from TikTok and the eye serum has amazing reviews. One dermatologist suggested that, once it's dried in, use a moisturising eye cream over it to seal it in, so you get the most benefit from it.
I really do like the toner we got on 1st December - I have very dry skin and always use a toner anyway, but it's nice to try a brand that I probably wouldn't have gone for myself.
Really glad I invested in this advent calendar this year.

Ah it's good to know the eye serum has got good reviews.

I was a bit deflated when I opened today's drawer as if got a gorgeous Coco and Eve mask in my Next AC.

But my under eye area does need some attention so we'll see how the serum pans out.

I really like The Ordinary so I'm pleased with the eye serum! I need to work my way through a lot of skincare products (last year's unopened M&S advent calendar stuff as well as LF monthly subscription box stuff) so might have to wait a while to get on the eye serum.

So far, I'm impressed with the calendar!

I need to try the eye serum. It's one of the products I kept after dismantling my LF calendar. It's still sat in my stash, didn't occur to me to use it under my eye cream.

Really pleased with today's eye serum. The best day so far for me. The Ordinary products are reasonably priced too, so if I like it I will rebuy without too much guilt!

I need to have a Google and see what the benefits are, but i’m assuming it’s good for dark circles/fine lines?

Morning all - today's is a brand I never even heard of (and I spend half my spare time on TikTok watching make up videos!).
The smell of this gloss reminds me of those grape lipbalms from the 90s, colour is definitely one I'd wear. It's a little sticky but will see how it lasts.
I do have a hundred lip glosses though so not overly excited by this one, but generally reviews are good.

Happy again! Love the colour, love my lipglosses.

Who remembers the lip crayon from last year? It was fabulous.

I like the lip gloss! I don't buy them normally, not really sure why not, but this is a lovely colour and doesn't seem too sticky.
