I used yday’s day cream this morning, it feels nice and sunk in well. I normally wear a standalone spf50 every day so I feel a bit naked!

I love aveda products but I’ve been given this exact tube as a freebie from an aveda counter to try.

Sorry to hear the PK elasticiser has disappointing results.

This thread is good market research for M&S, the products have been samey so far so I’m likely not to buy next years.

Yes, I wonder if M&S take any notice of forums/feedback etc about products that are in the calendar.

I did notice there were piles and piles of the calendars in a M&S I was in last week, maybe others have thought the same and gave this a miss. Same with the summer one.

I really like the leave in Aveeda conditioner, this looks to be something a bit different to that so I am looking forward to giving it a go. We do seem to get a lot of this brand in M&S calendars and things like the summer beauty box but tbh I do really like it and use it.

I remember the year when the Aveda product (damage remedy IIRC) was 100ml. That lasted me months and months. This one is tiny and like others, I cba to hang around for 20 minutes and then rinse it out. So far I haven't been wowed by any of the contents. I love the case though!

I like yesterday’s day cream but haven’t tried it - I hope it’s ok on sensitive skin! I love Aveda products, I really liked the leave in conditioner from a few years ago. But no wow product yet fit me. DD’s Look Fantastic is much better value so far!

Day 5 - Aveda Botanical Repair Strengthening Masque - 25ml

I can't seem to find this exact product, there is a light or rich Masque so maybe its an older version of one of these.

Good product today but again I'm feeling a bit grumpy about the size!!

I know it's totally my fault for not checking sizes before I decided on M&S this year but previously I feel they've always been quite generous? 🤔

A lot of the sizes of the products are the ones you get given for free - given they are trying to win you round to their brands and obviously are not paying retail they should have bigger sizes in the advent calendar.

M&S usually have a good mix, I didn't get last years but previously they have had a really good full size in day 1 and 24, and a fair mix between. Def some tiny tiny pots and tubes in the past but I have to say its not feeling great value so far, 19 days to go though!

The Aveeda product is something I have not tried before but I am looking forward to testing it. However, it does seem on the small size. Not sure if there is enough to get a good idea of what it can do.

I used the elasticiser yesterday and although it didn't make any difference to my hair it didn't look as dishevelled this morning. I go through hair masks at quite a rate so today's will definitely be used.

hopefully they’re just warming us up slowly; I didn’t check contents as I knew, for the price, I’d be buying it, but I’d be surprised if we didn’t get at least 2 full sizes. I’m a bit rusty with what was in last years- 2 nails inc nail varnishes and a travel nuxe oil, was there a big ren cleaner? I can’t remember what last year’s “big” item was!

I think there was a Benefit roller lash, which I'm quite keen on. Year before (or 2) we got full size EH cleansing balm which was lovely.

Ah the mascara! Thats it! And the balm. I remember now. I’m looking forward to opening tomorrow’s. I’ve also got a Vogue advent calendar, between the 2 I’ve got a new face and hair regime going on! I’ve decided I really liked this morning’s cream and when I’ve worked through my calendar stash, I’ll look in to the glow range .

Disappointed with today’s offering. Greige nail polish. I will palm it off on nieces.

Underwhelmed with another nail varnish so soon . It's a colour I will wear for every day though so more useful than the red one.

I think today's is quite a useful colour but it seems odd so soon after the red one. It's not a colour I would wear to a Christmas party so I didn't need it this early in December

Hmm, never worn this colour - nail varnish flakes off my fingernails within minutes of being applied and I like bright colours on my toes, but DD will like it!

I also like today's colour but agree that we probably didn't need another one so soon.

Underwhelmed. That kind of coloured nails makes me think of corpses, unfortunately.

I'm glad some of us are going to use this colour, its nothing I would pick but I will give it a try. If someone made you a brew that colour you would send it back!
