Personally I'd go for some fabulous indigo blue trousers made of a cotton material, accompanied by a simple but stylish blouson, in a contemporary 't' shape.

All of the above must be accompanied by subtle flecks of party food, vomit, blood and dirt (with a devilish swipe across the forehead to belnd the look together)
Simple.

pmsl. anything other than jeans and nice top will surely smack of "trying desperately hard". Am boggling at concept of buying an expensive dress for a party full of cake and chcolate fingered 5 year olds.

Cappuccino · 25/04/2008 10:31

'I am much older than the other mums, who will undoubtedly be wearing trendy things from Top Shop. To compensate I would like to buy a Chanel dress and accessorise with Tiffany diamonds so I do not stand out'

when I first skimmed it I read the word 'bingo' and wondered if they were going to suggest gear to wear for that in the future

I think they should

we hsould write a letter, now I am 60 what do I wear for the bingo?

I want to be able to layer it up for the colder evenings when the fire alarm goes off in my sheltered housing and I have to stand outside in the dark
