More things I found ready to go:

soap and glory orangeasm edt: fabulous scent if you are into citrus. Smells as the name suggests like oranges. Would rp but it is discontinued.

japanese cherry blossom by tbs, lovely light floral scent. I have another 2 to go.

from the same line , body wash, body lotion and body butter. The 3 were fine. I wasn’t that sold on the body butter though. Didn’t have much fragrance.

lidl’s L’Homme edp. I think it’s a dupe for Sauvage by Dior. I like it, my husband doesn’t. Even though he uses it.

Avon orange flower cologne. Ancient bottle. Pretty pleasant scent for citrus lovers. Discontinued ages ago. Would rp though.

Four big bottles of colognes and body splashes, agua de Rosa’s smells very floral and it’s a delight. I would rp.

Lavender is another one of my favourites but this one is discontinued. Would RP too. There is a newer edition in Mercadona for this one.

Mideen baby smells like Nenuco as I posted before

And baby Barbaría is nice but unremarkable. Won’t rp but my DD liked the unicorn.

Have quite alot of empties, alot of sample/small sizes though.
M&S sea salt and neroli perfume sample- loved this, might rp if I ever cut down my perfume stash.
Soap&Glory hand food, sugar crush- this was ok I prefer the original scent though.
Glow Recipe watermelon glow toner- I really liked this, it felt nice on my skin, might rp at some stage.
Rose bath bombs x2- ok, left my skin feeling soft but had lost their scent.
Bright eyes hydrogel eye mask- didn't like these, they ripped taking them out of the packet and kept sliding off.
Face Facts Apple face smoothing face mask- was of nothing special, smelt lovely though.
Cien tropical dry shampoo- horrible, hated the smell and did nothing for my hair.
Maybelline great lash blackest black mascara- no idea how long this was in my make up box but it worked well.
Korres greek yoyghurt foaming cream cleasner- this was ok, didn't break me out though it started smelling abit weird near the end.
Chanterelle blue light protection hyaluronic serum- this was lovely, can't justify the price though. The sample lasted ages
AB the rich cream- unfortunately* *I love this, might used my credit on it,am currently using the one out of my ac.
Ilia the base face milk- not enough in the sample to work out if I liked it or not.
Votary superseed nutrient cream sample- this was ok, again not enough to tell if I liked it.
L'occitane amande shampoo- liked this,it smelt lovely. Might rp.

Total 22/100 don't think I will have as many empties this month.

Whoops miscounted empties are 23/100 not 22

Experiment627 · 09/03/2025 11:15

I have two empties to report:

  • Wild deodorant "Thunderstorm" in their trial size: perfect for travelling or to see if you like the smell (I did - quite unisex & fresh) or to see if Wild's formula suits you.
  • Garnier MIcellar cleansing water in oil: wierdly this smells like Nivea (signature scent)! This is great for removing make-up or if you find normal micellar water too stripping. I would definitely RP. BUT am purchasing one from Nivea that I have tried before and loved to make sure I still do!

@Experiment627 I absolutely love the wild deodorant I have the refills on subscription on their website currently using cherry blossom which is a,fave. Have u used the body washes or any of their other products? Sorry I know, this is a,use up thread, and not an,encourage to buy more thread, lol but believe,me I need no,encouragement I have a vinted cosmetics addiction 🙈

Choux · 09/03/2025 15:43

Oh @Mackemlass79 (and anyone else) tell me more about buying cosmetics on Vinted? Have you ever bought anything you are unhappy with as it wasn't new and unused?

I am asking as I have come to the end of a skincare product I am really sad about so am contemplating replacing it with one for sale on Vinted. It's listed as new and unused and half the price of buying it from John Lewis / Space NK. The person selling it has good reviews but I worry I won't be happy with it when it arrives.

OvaHere · 09/03/2025 17:05

@Choux

I sell more than I buy but I've never been unhappy with anything so far. I do tend to look for things that I know are probably from kits/gwp/advent calendars that have just been released though.

SwordBilledHummingbird · 09/03/2025 17:17

I've bought quite a few cosmetics on Vinted and have been pleased with them all. They've all been as described (new and unused) and it's been a good deal for both me and the seller as they've been things that have been in beauty edits etc so the seller recoups some money and I get a bargain. I generally look to pay no more than half RRP and always check out feedback before buying. No problems so far.

I will be honest i have had a,couple of items I have been disappointed with maybe they've just been lying around and past their best bit I never paid more than a,few pounds so not a huge loss though I have to say the vast majority I have been very happy with have been in perfect condition and as described

ITookYourJoob · 11/03/2025 12:18

Kayali fragrance samples - sooo sweet. Not my thing, really.

Sebastian no breaker - variation of bond building treatment. It works very well if locked in with a leave in conditioner. I have another tube to see long term effects.

Dr Levy pigment control - really liked this, did brighten my face. Too expensive to replace though.

Elizabeth Arden deodorant - lovely smell, a bit odd to use, but would buy again.

Marc Jacobs Daisy mini- bit meh. Would not buy a full size.

Hermes Tilly sample - very mature but also old lady like. good in very small doses.

Lancome Génifique- Loved it last year, when I used up a full size bottle. Still have 2 more minis to go. I keep hoping Boots has a good sale on this.

Lancome hydra zen face cream - it’s ok. Nothing special. Reminds me a bit of a simple Nivea cream.

wheresmyshoe · 23/10/2024 11:41

Thank you @Experiment627 this thread has helped my resolve to use 100 products up this year!
On that 79/100

Nivea blue lip balm - love it, wouldn't be without it.
Setting spray - I liked the rose water scent, happily use again but have another brand waiting in the wings.

Have you tried the light blue Nivea tube - full of hyallaronic acid. I like it!

Deathraystare · 11/03/2025 13:34

No throwaways to report yet but did buy another tube of Garnier SPF 50 with Vitamin C as I cannot find it! I am enjoying the light blue nivea lip balm stick with hyalaronic acid and bought a duo pack of BB Gold snail mucin SPF 50 from Amazon. Very pleasant. I put it on over a light moisturiser as it gets very hot at work and dries my skin out! Feels nice and makes my skin look good.

Will soon be finishing the Dove roll on anti perspirant in Pomegranate. Will possibly re-purchase. I am nearly out of the green top pot of Simple age resisting cream with SPF. I don't know why but I had been using it as a night cream even though I realise now it has 15 spf in it. It is a light cream quite pleasant.

Recently re-purchased Marvais toothpaste with Jasmin and mint. Lovely!

wheresmyshoe · 11/03/2025 14:11

Great tip, @Deathraystare thank you!

paristotokyo · 12/03/2025 11:32

Yay finally some empties to report (packages were cut to get the remaining dregs after)
Softymo deep cleansing oil - have rp this multiple times, I love an oil cleanser. Slightly prefer the pink bottle (speedy cleansing oil) though which I have ready to replace with
Kate Somerville goat milk cleanser - absolutely love this. So gentle and great for sensitive skin. Have rp and always buy the small 30ml from vinted for travel so I'm stocked up
Haruharu bamboo mist - I love a face mist but wouldn't rp. This was nice enough but not as good as my HG Biossance which I have now bought backups as I don't want to be without :)
Laura Mercier ambre vanille body/bath oil - this came part of a set. Used on body and it was lovely. Comforting scent. Totally overpriced full sized though so I rp from vinted for a bargain but wish it was a spray bottle as it's awkward to apply
Elemis pro-collagen marine cream - I really wasn't sure about this at first but ended up loving it by the end. Really plumping and hydrating. The scent is so strange though and I just can't place what it reminds me off! Won't rp as it's so expensive and I have other day creams to use up
Skin1004 centella ampoule - a hg for me. Always in my rotation as my skin loves centella. Great for sensitive skin. I have a purito centella serum to use up before I rp though
Y. o. u. Sunbrella spf - bought this cheapie in East Asia last year to try, it's nice enough and as with these spfs the formula is nice but it's slightly fragranced and I have others that I prefer
Glossier réve sample - nice but nothing special so wouldn't rp. Not pictured is the doux sample which I also wouldn't rp

Forgot to add this empty
Innisfree green tea seed serum - really liked this. I'm dry and sensitive so this felt nice to use. Hydrating and not irritating at all, felt very gentle. Will rp at some point

@Mackemlass79 The Wild Cherry Blossom is next on my list to try. My fave so far is the Sea Salt one. I have not tried any of their other products just the deodorant.

I have a few empties to report:

  • Elizabeth Grant caviar recharge serum: really lovely serum - very nourishing. It was a gift and I do not think readily available in the UK.
  • Skin & Me vitamin C serum - sample size: I got about 2 weeks use of this - very nice. Had no breakouts which sometimes happens with Vitamin C stuff. Smell rank but scent is not lingering.
  • Skin & Me Soothe & Smooth rich moisturiser - sample size: ok but rich enough for night time for moi

27/100

Sunday Riley pink drink - HG product for me, I’ve got a whole lot of small toners to go through but will buy this again if I see it at a good price. Makes a visible difference to my skin.
oribe gold lust shampoo - gorgeous and beautiful for my fine hair but it’s far out of my price range. I also have many shampoos in the stash
rituals pillow spray - much like any other
avant face wash - again nothing to distinguish it, non drying which was good
priya hotel mini bath gel - fine and will use at hotels but not swipe the lot to bring home

I powered through the L’Oreal Elvive Glycolic Gloss Shampoo & Conditioner. Liked them a lot. Thanks for recommending @Experiment627 . It’s still very expensive here compared to the Japanese hair stuff I have been using, which is also lovely. I have to admit that I like the scent.

CorneliaStreet · 15/03/2025 15:42

Empties:

Anua Heartleaf cleansing oil - 20ml. Really good, felt lovely and lightweight but got mascara off with no effort.

Jorgobe 2% BHA exfoliating toner - 150ml. Also good, gentle enough to use every day and seems to have done a good job at keeping my skin clear.

Cle de Peau Hydro-Softening lotion - 30ml. A clear runny essence/serum consistency. Felt nice and hydrating but a bit too fragranced and no doubt stupidly expensive. Plenty of much cheaper K-beauty alternatives.

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour lip balm - more like eight seconds. Rubbish.

Laneige lip sleeping mask, gummy bear flavour - love this product. Various other flavours in the stash or on the go.

Lush gingerbread lip scrub - 25g. A bit pointless for me as I use loads of lip balm. Did taste delicious though.

Mon Guerlain EDP - 5ml. I’ve got a full size, so used up the mini. One of my all time favourite perfumes.

Lush Christmas Eve shower gel - 295g. From the Lush December subscription box. Lovely floral scent, quite subtle by Lush standards.

Lush Tramp body scrub - 130g. This one, however, was not subtle at all, could still smell it in the bathroom hours after my shower. Smelled incredible - weirdly, I don’t like patchouli in perfumes but seem to love any Lush product with patchouli in. Scrub itself was a bit feeble though.

Lush Helping Hands hand cream - 100g. Too thick and greasy.

So ten products out, but then nine more arrived today - got the Boots K-Beauty box. £40 for this lot seemed good value and the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen and the Haruharu toner are both favourite products of mine, so good to restock.

ITookYourJoob · 15/03/2025 15:56

@CorneliaStreet thanks for sharing the Boots box. I’ve no idea about the products as I don’t really use K beauty, but if it’s a good value, I’ll get it too.

Experiment627 · 15/03/2025 18:37

@Fraaahnces I am so glad you liked the Glycolic Gloss stuff - for me the best product is the 5 minute lamination and then the serum - which does have glitter in but does not look like glitter in the hair IYKWIM. That serum saves my hair in between washes.

@CorneliaStreet I really need to get to a Lush soon - the Sleep Cream is the best!

I have another empty:

  • Skin & Me Purify & Prep Hydrating Cleanser sample: this is great for the morning cleanse. You apply to damp skin and it feels very soothing.
OP posts:
Thereislightattheendofthetunnel · 19/03/2025 18:30

I have some more empties:

a sample of Shiseido Ginza edp. Very similar to Mon Paris by YSL. Pretty floral fruity fragrance. I really enjoy it but I have mon Paris so wouldn’t buy it.

2 poopsies nail polishes that have dried up from my DD. Indeed, they are sh*t.

Aveeno body wash. Fine, a recurring one in our home.

The same as with head and shoulders shampoo. Classic.

Mamia bedtime bath smells like Johnson baby bedtime but cheaper. From Aldi. Would rp.

clearskin gel wash. Bought for my DD. She used it. All I can say.

herbal essences coconut conditioner. Smells ok and the consistency is great. Leaves hair smooth without weight.

Garnier shampoo in apricot. I love this and takes me back to when I was little. Gentle with hair. Have others already.

Lacura hand wash bergamot and mint. Love this, my last bottle sadly.

Lacura orange and bergamot. If you are a fan of citrusy scents get this. I would rp.

deluxe Lidl lavender handwash. There is something so magical in lavender that soothes my soul. I would rp. This one is really good and a copy of L’occitane’s range.

Monderma Tretinoin at £11.99 for me. It's Vitamin B, E, and Hyaluronic Acid content make it notably more potent than other retinol and retinoid anti-ageing skincare I've tried yet at 45. I use it every other night alternately on my hands and face to clear my age spots.

rumanah · 20/03/2025 01:02

Their tret is excellent. DD and I are using Monderma.
