Cult Beauty are inviting me to sign up to be ‘first in line’ to hear about their BF offerings as if they’ll be the best things ever. Is this likely to be the case?

I am debating ordering some more eyeshadow from Sephora today as I have 20% off but don’t want to commit if CB, (or indeed Sephora), are likely to reduce stuff by more than 20% on BF. (I am still annoyed at only getting 15% off on the Sephora product that arrived today). If companies weren’t understandably iffy about make up returns, I would return and reorder, (especially as I think I ordered the wrong shade🙀)

Feel like it's unlikely to go beyond 20% but I suppose you never know.

@IlovePond how urgently do you need the eyeshadow? Black Friday isn't really a thing here (in the way it is/was in the US) so I agree it's unlikely to be anything much beyond 20%. I can usually get 15/20% off with Sephora or CB via Blue Light, so they do frequently do those discounts, so if you don't need it urgently you could wait and see. But 20% is about as good as it tends to get.

BTW: Some of you may remember I asked my DH to fill an old 12 day a/c for me for Xmas, (thinking cute cheap Xmas earrings, maybe a lip balm, hand cream), but he looked so confused I ordered a mystery BBox, didn’t look at the contents and gave them to him to put in the box instead.

I found out today that he has completely forgotten about this arrangement and has been ordering me makeup online.

It never occurred to me he’d start diving into the world of beauty/skincare completely unaided. The mind boggles at what he has been buying.

I do know I am very lucky he cares - I just hope it’s not brow gel 😹

On a positive note, you might end up some expensive stuff you always wanted to try but didn't want to spend money on.

On a related note: A poster on another thread is buying a lovely gift for her friend from Dior and, of course, Dior offer free engraving. I thought that was a lovely idea; I wish I had friends like that! (I could really go for an engraved lipgloss or similar from Dior, but won’t be getting one😹)

Look Fantastic has a 25% flash sale with code. This takes the Lumene AC which I have been eyeing but I definitely definitely definitely don't need because I already have the LF AC and a second LIB mystery box on the way down to around £71.

I didn't buy any of the Liberty early releases yesterday which is something of a small miracle. I had a stern word with myself because when it came down to it I couldn't name a single thing in any of them that I wanted to try or has ever been on any wish list I've had. I was literally just being a magpie with a dose of fomo.

Code ADVENTSAVE25 takes 25% off the boots No.7 advent calendars. This brings the standard A/C down to £45 and the luxury down to about £131.25. If you have a student discount on your advantage card, it stacks too. I’ve tried TCB too but doubt it will work. That’s MIL sorted for advent.

For those waffling on the Lumene Calendar with a discount, Lumene is doing a £10 Friday again on 6 products on its own site. Plus a free day cream, also 50ml, appeared in my basket when I put my items in. I've gotten some very good deals on their site before.

I've just ordered 4 50ml pots of day/night creams which I think is better value than the calendar for me and I'll know I'll use these particular items. Shipping is free.

Is that the £220 box?!
