oh sputnik, DON'T make it worse for the rest of us. I hate people who don't have stretchmarks (nothing personal )

They're all smug and, god yes, preeny when everyone knows it's nothing they actually did and it's all genetics. Well, and how old and haggard your skin already was when you had babies.

Sputnik · 23/04/2008 21:25

Well I am old. The haggard bit varies
I had a secret recipe for stretchmarks which I slathered myself with, but no idea if it was that or luck actually. I have them from when I was a teenager though.

Most people wear bikinis in Germany. Most people look terrible in them.

good on her

could anyone possibly send me the gok wan thing from woman magazine?

OrmIrian · 24/04/2008 10:06

I'm not sure that all men don't care about women's shape/size. In fact IME they do notice and can be quite judgemental. It's just that what some men find attractive/unattractive is very different from what women might. DH tells me I look fantastic in a bikini but when I look at the photos later I am always horrified and swear never to wear anything less than a full-length sarong on the beach again.

I used to worry loads about what I looked like on the beach till I hadto have lots of surgery on my belly. I used to cover up before the scars but now I wear a bikini and dont give a toss. I hear people saying stuff to their partners and looking at me pityingly but I reckon it takes their mind off my cellulite!. I find that it was worse before I had the kids cos now people just assume it something to do with having them. My DD calls them my 'zips'.
