Do comfy heels exist?!

I am going to a black tie event in a few weeks and will be wearing a black midi dress (link below).

Last time I wore this dress, I wore these heels and I was walking like a giraffe that has just left it's mother's womb - so embarrassing.

I'm trying to find some nice black heels that I can actually walk in, that go with this dress. If they happen to be somewhat comfy that would be an added bonus. Can anyone help me? Thanks so much.

Hush Puppies with the tapered heel or block heels. I got some tapered Linley & Skinner heels from Vinted, omg, I’ve never managed heels ever and I’ve just taken them off now. Been running round school all day in them. Gutted they no longer exist 😢

Years ago I had a pair of Miu Miu heels which were unbelievably easy to wear. I use to sprint around in heels but no longer!

Respect! I’d need crutches to balance on those!

Probably not suitable for your evening but I bought a pair of black suede ankle boots from New Look in their 'comfort' style and they actually are comfortable! I've worn them for a whole day of travelling into London and back and they didn't hurt my feet/didn't give me horrendous aches and pains when I took them off.

You probably got the same ones as me which are very comfortable though I wear a chiropodist’s comfy in sole with them, they’re fine without them but worn them loads as so comfy.

A few designer pairs I’ve had were either comfy or not comfy, expensive doesn’t always equal comfy.

I’ve got a pair of Karen Millen strappy sandal heels which when I bought them I asked if they were comfy and the sales assistant confirmed that they were as they had a pair themselves, they were right.

Kate at WearMyMoney has a 15% off code for Esska at the moment. KATE15

Thank you sooo much for this! Just been to the Esska showroom and picked up my silver Charlie heels with 15% off 😍.

I do have quite wide feet but luckily the Charlies have quite a bit of room so I ended up with my normal size 7. So excited to wear them on Thursday.

I don't think it's dramatic to say a comfy pair of heels is going to be life-changing!!

That’s fantastic! I went in the summer and they were so helpful.
Because of the colour I wanted they ended up calling one of their tiny little boutique stockists for me to track them down.

Jimmy Choo, every pair I have, all high and block heel, are like a pair of slippers. If you're able to visit Bicester Village, you can puck up a real bargain too.

I said I’d come back after I’d given the Vice Versa a go on my cruise. They were great both as heals and flats.

I’ve since given them ago out and about on a night out in a city and again they were great. It was fantastic to be able to fold them flat and walk home at the end of the night.

An unexpected benefit was the bottom is rubberised and so on shiny floors I still felt like I had good grip.
