Shein unfortunately, I know people hate it, but I have never seen anything similar anywhere else, I did look before ordering.

Awesome dress @ChishiyaBat I went for an outdoor swim today in a pond. It was bloody freezing which was very refreshing considering the temperatures here (30°). It’s a women only pond and there were ladies of all shapes and sizes there just existing and not giving a hoot about it. I think all girls should be able to go to places like that and see how different all our bodies are, even if they look similar in clothes.

That sounds amazing. I bet it felt like ice though! I agree I think young girls should see women as they are, after all what they see in magazines is either unnobtainable for 99.99% of people, or isn't even real.

Another one who loves the starry night dress!

Girls are any of you excessive face sweaters? My face is dripping in this heat and I feel awful, has anyone got any tips? It seems to be my forehead, everywhere else hardly any sweat at all.

@Lwrenn I read somewhere that vitamin d supplements can help. When I get like that blotting paper is a godsend. I find when I wear makeup it doesn't happen as bad too.

@LLwrenn I'm a face sweater too. It's awful.. Completely outside of my control. I carry a fan I bought in Tenerife (an old style hand wavy one) and a tiny water spritzer to spray, obviously no good if I'm wearing make up (which i do going out with husband or to work). I don't know the answer but I know it can be very noticeable when it happens.

I tried knitting, both my Nans tried to teach me@TruthThatsHardAsSteel I just couldn't do it😂. My Mam used to crochet until her arthritis got too bad. My Nan was a seamstress worked in the textile factories making teddies and garments later on, she was great at sewing, knitting and crocheting, she used to make all my clothes when I was a kid, my Mam is good at it too, I did not inherit the skill though😭.

I am a terrible back of neck sweaty gal - I bought something off Amazon once, I think it might have even been recommended on here? Let me dig out a link…..

I had a really unusual interaction yesterday with the sweat, funnily enough, some tiny wee lass was sweaty more than me and we were joking, using menus to fan ourselves at the bar, (kids pub, nothing fancy!) And anyway she said that she's never been sweaty before but she's recently been taking antidepressants and said the sweat doesn't stop and I realised when I changed mine to sertraline that's when I started sweating buckets. Prior to that I wasn't sweaty and I was still a big girl!

@Lwrenn that is interesting - I am on sertraline too, but had the sweaty neck issue before then. I don’t know whether it has gotten worse since being on AD though 🤔 I put it down to being bigger bodied and peri menopause?!?
