Starting a new thread for @Lwrenn who is slaying in her compression stockings right now.

It turned out ok, the pink went purple, which is all good. Picked up this nightie in peacocks(not that you can see much of it) it's a long black soft touch jersey one, needs taking up, but i'm going to grab another one tomorrow, they are in the sale for £7.

@ChishiyaBat it’s not a holiday, I’ve been working here, but leaving for good in two weeks, so trying to cram everything in! I fancied spending next weekend at the lake but my DH is coming out and he would hate it.

I will be sad to leave. I have an amazing team here and a beautiful apartment with an amazing view. It’s an absolutely wonderful city.

Hey you fabulous lot. I’ve so many pages to catch up on so hope you’re all ok.

We’ve been away for a couple of weeks, just in the UK, but we had glorious weather. I think I’ve come to the conclusion I’m not a fan of wearing dresses. I love how they look but I never feel comfy, even with my Snag Chub Rub shorts on. I always feel hot and sweaty and just uncomfortable. I’ve mainly been wearing my wide leg trousers and vest tops, but I did treat myself to some new ones (both tops and trousers).

We’ll have to make this thread an autumn one soon! 🎃👻🍁

@BeretRaspberry I was thinking the same yesterday. I tend to still wear the same with leggings under but I've got rid, so I will be looking for some tights maybe try some different patterned ones not sure yet

I bought a gorgeous Live Unlimited top and promptly got grease spots on it the first time I wore it.

Then I tried to remove the spots and made it worse.

I think I've fixed it and it's looking ok, but that was a hairy moment. It is a gorgeous top and I was fully prepared to buy another in the sale if I'd ruined it.

Anyway, I'm wearing it today. It's a cheery bright Green among the dull and grey weather.

@TragicMuse Ooo love this I use washing up liquid to remove grease spots or spaghetti bol I massage it in and chuck in washer works even on white tops

@TragicMuse that green is stunning💚. Yes @Dollyparot200 and if you team washing up liquid with elbow grease it'll get pretty much anything out!

i'm iff to pick up my new glasses in 10minutes. Just chucked on a black maxi dress with a shirt&belt.

Washing up liquid is great for a lot of things, Thank you, Got it in the sale in New Look over 4 years ago, it was around £7 if I remember rightly.

This powder is also great. I use it a lot on clothes I don’t want to wash too much/are more fragile.
Sprinkle over the stain, leave for 24hours, shake the garnement.

I think it's nice, a good shape, will go with many different styles of bottoms and can be dressed up or down, plus I love the green💚.

I love Live Unlimited. Their stuff fits so well. I’ve got work dresses, casual tops, all sorts from there. We’re currently eating everything that’s left in the fridge and drinking all the wine before we fly home. It’s 35 degrees here, not sure I will cope with U.K. weather!

Currently flopping about in my Lands End linen trousers and a Ralph Lauren Judy tee shirt. It’s at least five years old and still looks like new.

Has anyone ordered anything from Beige before? I’ve seen a couple of sale things that I’m quite tempted by.

It’s from Old Navy in the US unfortunately- bought in the Labour Day sales in May. I’m 5’9” and it’s almost long enough 😝

I've just had something lovely happen and I've not got anyone to tell in real life really.
So my eldest has been working so hard over summer and I've bought him some things like new trainers etc just because I'm really proud of him.
Anyway he's just come home with his wages and told me the one thing he really wants to do with his first full time paycheck is take me out for a meal and I quote, "see if there is anything in the shops you fancy". I'm so happy he actually wants to spend time with me! He's a social butterfly these days so I thought he'd want to be out all hours with his pals but he wants to spend some time with me and spoil me.
We've had strange weather this summer so I might be wearing an autumn outfit, but I actually have a reason to get clothes on that aren't just there to be covered in baby sick 😂
