I have lived in maxi skirts since forever they are so easy to throw on with a tshirt, or dress up, a plus point for me ar 4foot10 is they make me look taller too.

Aww thank you 😊 We stayed in the UK this year for our hols and ended up in the Lakes. This photo was taken in Ambleside. It was stunning and would definitely recommend a visit if you haven't already. We also went to Barrow-in-Furness and Grasmere 🙂

I went in the sea yesterday, first time I've exposed myself to the elements and the genera public for many years.

It was sooo lovely to be in the cold water after being boiling in the day.

So today I bought myself a new swimming cossie from Sainsbury!

That is amazing! I don't go swimming or to the beach, but I quite fancy a bikini for if I ever do.

You are looking very lovely there @Soccermumamir . Really like that skirt . The Lake District is lovely if you get the good weather .

@Soccermumamir i've never been to the lakes, we usually go stay with family in North Wales, but can't see that happening this year. I haven't been on an actual holiday since 1999 and I can't see that changing any time soon. When I do i'll be going to Tokyo😁.

Wales is beautiful, i'm obviously biased but it really is. New York looks so fun I hope you get to go.

It's cooler here today so im wearing my new wide leg pants from next which I love. Ive actually given most of my leggings to my daughter as I'm determined not to wear them every day and have tried to get some comfy options which are different and I feel a bit more dressed up it. Wish I did this years ago. Hope everyone is doing ok

I love New York but Tokyo scares the pants off me for some reason? We were lucky enough to go to Tenerife this summer and it was a shock to the system! The sun! The heat! My pasty legs! Here is a selection of outfits I wore - daytime (well breakfast time anyhow) along bottom and night time along top…..

My DH was a bit bemused by me taking selfies in the mirror of my outfits 😝

I think Tokyo is scary, but in a good way. I'd love to go everywhere in Japan, but I want to go to Tokyo first, I think it looks amazing, busy and beautiful, I want to stay in Asakusa.

I went for an eyetest yesterday and fot tje ultimate compliment. "Wow your face is so symmetrical, it's amazing!" 😂.
It made me see how yucky my hair was though, the purple doesn't last in my hair it fades to a mucky blue, so i'm going two tone green with one pink one at the back(because my daughter missed it) here is how it's looking right now, I feel better already😁.

I love the green hair. Mine is more of a sweaty blonde. I went to the tiny Turkish baths today that the tourists don’t find. None of the signs are in English which makes it a bit challenging. But there were only six of us there today, mostly over 50 but no-one caring what they looked like. I’ve learned the hard way not to wear jeans or trousers as they’re difficult to put on damp legs, so I wore a blue linen Boden shift dress courtesy of one of the charity shops in Forest Hill.

Oh and the sparkly lobster necklace was from Jenny Juice.
