Nicola Coughlan's stylist needs to step it up!

This woman is a talented goddess and I'm so disappointed by how she has been styled for the Brigerton promos.
I feel like a lot of stylists cannot cope with a petite curvy woman, it's so annoying.
This woman deserves all the beautiful clothes!!

And I’d say it’s a good deal more interesting and human to experiment with clothing and styling throughout one’s life than to pick one safe style and stick with it. That must be quite scary if you know you’re going to be constantly photographed.

But it would be remarkably precious for anyone who puts themselves in the public eye to imagine they could ban the public from discussing their appearance.

She's pretty out spoken, I can't imagine her just going along with her stylists outfits if she didn't like them

There's just no chance she's a size 10. 16 minimum and more I would say, especially as she's very short in height. I know many petite short people and she is not it. I fully understand her wanting to say that, she's standing next to waifs and very slim people. She's beautiful regardless but it makes her sound daft saying she's a size 10.

@PotatoPudding I'm trying to post a photo of her with her stylist, but I don't seem to be able to on my phone! But her stylist is a tall slim size 8-10 and Nicola looks around a size up from her so I would say she's definitely just very busty and curvy.

Like others have said, we should refrain from discussing her size and concentrate on the styles we admire or not. I would say at Nicola's hight and curves, that it's tricky to find clothing that typically suits the dimensions, I think she's being brave and daring and doesn't want to just sink into the background and I admire her confidence to wear what the hell she wants and what she likes!

I'm only a little bit older than her and her skin, all over is incredible, really plump (I don't mean fat) and youthful, like when you pinch the skin on the back of your hand as you get older and it doesn't spring right back, vs when you do it when you're young and can't work out what your older colleagues are talking about because of course it bounces right back ... Her skin has youthfulness to it , like she's very well hydrated. I'm just rambling at this point but hopefully someone will understand what I mean

On what planet is she a size 10?! Come off it. 😆 A size 14-16 is the slimmest I have ever seen her. (She usually looks size 16 to 18.) She is very cute, but it's laughable to say she's a size 10.

Oh and yeah, she IS 'plus-size.'

The one with the bright pink frilly top and the shiny light pink trousers is awful.

Yeah that quote from her is about season 1 of Derry Girls, not Bridgerton. She was definitely a lot slimmer then than she currently is - not a good or bad thing, just clear to see. I think she looks incredible and I like how she wears things that are not traditionally “flattering”. It’s bold and I always look forward to seeing her outfits even I don’t particularly like them!

If Nicola - and her publicists, are going to 'state for the public record' - that she's a size 10, then people ARE going to comment, because it's clear she is NOT a size 10. She is a clearly 14-16. Why say any different? People have got eyes, and the gift of sight, and can see she is not a size 10. Does she and her agent etc expect people to believe this?

As I said, she is a cute girl, but a size 10 she is not, and it's cringeworthy and embarrassing that anyone would expect anyone else to believe that! And if Nicola DIDN'T want people to comment, then why did she even mention her dress size?

Also, what the F is WRONG with being a size 14-16? It's nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed about!

All her clothes are just too frilly and girly for my taste. But most modern fashion seems to be that way.

She spends plenty of time posting very negative and regressive things about other women (especially those older than her).

She didn't worry about their mental health when she did it.

I am plus sized - she is not my role model and dresses like a frump.

She is the epitome of a bullied-child/woman turning the tables on others so that she can avoid negative attention and then cries foul when the tables turn.

And ... if she's a size 10 I am the Pope.

Some actresses always get their bodies dissected, too big, too small etc. It must feel horrible.

I kind of hoped this thread would be a "wake up stylist"/look at these nice dresses and Nicola/Bridgerton appreciation thread but instead it's people obsessing about her saying she's a size 10 (absent of context or timing of that comment).
