I have just ordered one from Mint Velvet which I tried on and liked and then regretted not buying. I'm just not 100% sure they suit me being kind of boxy fit/short as I'm only short myself. Anyone seen any others which are nice?

I have the river Island one from Next but just spotted this one for £44 I’d probably get it if I didn’t have the RI one!

@ThePoshUns the Zara one is back in a medium. Have checked the ecru one and the black one.

If you look on the clearance section of Next, they sometimes list River island ‘housecoat’’ in either a cream or green design, but it keeps going in and out if stock. Limited sizes. Currently have this in ‘small’.

The river island one has just arrived from Next. I love it it's a keeper!

I ordered this from Zara. Small was neat but fine . (12 HS). I didn’t like the way the lining appears at the wrist when I put my arms into it. Returning as it just wasn’t right. Pulled out an old Mango one that’s wasn’t right at the time but now seems fine 🤦‍♀️

Unfortunately this thread made me really want one. I finagled DH into getting me the Toast kantha one for my birthday. I ordered the red hoping it would be pinkish but it arrived orange-ish. As it turns out I love it. Only thing I don't like is the bracelet length sleeves but you can't have everything eh.

Before I got it I bought one from eBay. It's supposedly a size 12 but it's much too small for my sort of size 12. I'd say it would fit a 10 or smaller, someone not pear shaped.

I'm happy to give it to anyone who'd like it if they'll pay for the postage.

The Zara one arrived for me today and the L is fine however it is a little shorter/boxier than I’d like but I’ll keep as the monochrome should work with lots of my wardrobe.

So I now have the S, M and L of Zara. Need to figure out which fit I prefer. Probably the medium but it has a lose popper which I am not sure I can fix. It is a little boxy but I wonder if that is partly its newness, still a little bit stiff out the box.

Saw a woman getting petrol the other day in a lovely blue and white large paisley print quilted jacket with very fancy stitching - swirly rather than crosshatch. I wanted to call across the forecourt - "Love your jacket! Where was it from?" But I didn't and then she was gone.

Any thoughts on this one?

I love the colours but not fond of some of the patterns. It's very 1980s duvet.

My Etsy jacket from India has arrived, took about 12 days I think? Definitely worth the money (about £35 delivered), and its fully reversible. This is me as a size 14 in an XXL, I kind of wish I'd got the XL as I like things a bit more fitted. Excuse the wet hair 😊

@anon2022anon i think that size looks perfect on you, I think unless you go for a cropped jacket they look best a little oversized IMO

Random question - did anyone who had the Zara quilted jackets try washing them, despite the instructions not to?

I keep thinking I'd quite like to wash mine to 'relax' it a bit. Doesn't need cleaning, and I could just steam it for that.

(Despite this post, I am loving it and getting loads of use from it.)

Not washed it yet but will want to at some point. Hadn’t realised the instructions said not to.

@MuscariFan I've not tried washing mine yet. I got the cream one so it will def need a regular wash. I know what you mean about relaxing it. Mine feels a bit stiff and boxy but I think it just needs some wearing in.

Mine is the black one, so report back if you're the first one brave enough please! 😆

@MuscariFan Luckily after buying and trying every size I kept the large so if it shrinks a bit it should still be okay. I'll let you know but I plan to keep as clean as possible in case it all goes wrong.
