I have just ordered one from Mint Velvet which I tried on and liked and then regretted not buying. I'm just not 100% sure they suit me being kind of boxy fit/short as I'm only short myself. Anyone seen any others which are nice?

@bb192 those Etsy ones are gorgeous! What are they like in real life? How is the sizing?

Read the reviews for the Etsy ones. They come from India and the sizing is very small. Some colours are not the same as advertised say the buyers. Great price though.

The Etsy ones from EssentialDesignsLDN come from UK and are generous.

I read the reviews and ordered an XXL for a 14- lots of reviews said they're a medium normally and XL fits well

Where are we on the slightly longer belted ones?

I noticed Today that Toast have their lovely Kantha jackets in stock. Saw them last year? But haven’t noticed them recently so not sure if they’ve just come back in stock or if I’ve missed them. Can’t justify the price to be honest

You’re all bad, bad influences. Just ordered the Zara one but think it’ll be too small so I’m keeping an eye on the Amazon ones too.

@JW13 how was the sizing? I find Zara the worst for this, I have the same style dress in both a S and XL!

I’ve read reviews saying the sizing is generous so I’ve ordered the xl hoping it will accommodate my swimmers shoulders 😆

I'd say it comes up quite big - I'm a 12/5'9" and got a medium and it's roomy.

I had a gorgeous one in the ‘80s, I think it was made by a seamstress friend of my mum’s. I wore it to death and it was so colourful.

Have quilted jackets replaced kimono type jackets this year? And denim jackets?

I love them and am also short at 5"2 but I think they look fab. Then again I love oversized clothing!

The Zara one turned up, it is actually a large not an XL. But it fits. I have to say I think it’s more wearable/practical than the Mint Velvet one…..maybe because of the colour or the fact it fastens properly? I’ve been trying them both on trying to decide which to send back. I think I’d get more wear out the Zara one so my head is telling me to send the MV one back. But the MV one just looks more special/expensive. Have a bad feeling I’m keeping both.

I’ve seen that in store and it’s very nice but for me the colour would be impractical and not suit me very well. I’m so pale white really washes me out.

I have a cream one from New Look. I'm quite overweight but surprisingly it seems to work, have had a few compliments.
