I'll share my latest purchase, although it's not designer. I've wanted a bag this shape for ages and none of the designer options suited. Polene is over priced now in my opinion. It hasn't arrived yet, I hope I'm not disappointed by the lack of label!

@StuckInARut40 I wouldn't go silver personally, you might go off it.

I carry my Kate Spade tan satchel just about all winter. I tend to be a one bag per season person. My bag is about 3 years old and still looking nice.

I was trying to find a nice tan suede hobo-style but it seems dark brown is in, but not tan!

I'm much lower budget than most on here, quite fine with that. Meaning I could pay more, but can't bring myself to do it.

@mdinbc Kate Spade make some lovely bags. I've also been looking at Coach lately although nothing purchased yet. The brand seems to be having a bit of a revival

I'm a £500 tops girl but just to tickle you, due to another thread on here just before Christmas, I happened upon the Loewe Puzzle and it is lovely. As a bit of a tease I showed it to DH with a wink about Christmas and he shrugged and just said "is that what you want?".

I had to dissuade him. 😀.

Hi, new to this thread, just came across it as I’m approaching my annual handbag purchase (with my annual bonus) and like to spend a good amount of time looking at what bags other people are buying . Last year I bought a hot pink mulberry small Bayswater. (I mostly own mulberry’s). This year I’m thinking of spending a bit more and getting a small puzzle. The silver colour above had also caught my eye but there’s also a nice yellowy one which I was thinking might be more neutral. I live in a tropical country so will be looking for a lighter or brighter colour than brown or black. My lovely mulberry green Alexa isn’t getting as much love in permanent summer as it was in London winter.

This is the bag I’m eyeing up. I think there’s only one Loewe shop here so probably I will set my heart on that one and then find I can’t get it 🙈

Oooh loving all the Puzzles! I have a confession to make - I actually ordered the silver mini on impulse just before Christmas, and left it in the packaging while deciding. Just realised I’ve completely fucked up and missed the return window- I’d thought it was 31 days but it was only 15. Looks like I’m keeping it - I’d pretty much decided I was going to, so it’s not a complete disaster and it won’t put me in debt, but I did feel a bit sick when I realised the decision had been made for me. But still - serious lesson learned for me to pay attention to refund policies 😬

Hoping it’ll be fine - I’m cool toned and wear a lot of blues, pinks etc. I think it will be lovely in the summer too - I had a silver satchel back when they were in, and got a lot of use out of that 🤞

@StuckInARut40 as a fellow summer with a penchant for pinks and blues I've plenty of options for the silver and suspect it use it for decades as it would work on holiday and for evenings too.

Yes I do think it’s going to go with loads of things. It’s quite a matte silver too rather than shiny, so a lot more subtle than others I’ve seen. In a way I’m quite glad the decision was made for me - I really loved it but the price was just making me go 😳. Am now on a complete spending ban for the foreseeable 🤣. Anyone else thinking of the puzzle, go for it - it’s really lovely #enabler

I’ve just ordered this ready for the summer. I don’t like bags with obvious branding so this ticks the boxes.
