@iloveshetlandponies I'm not sure I'd trust a Chanel on eBay.

This is my thinking

some of them have an authentication service (and I have a Chanel already that I got through that)

But this one doesn't.

They must be a business as they have 1,200+ listings. However, I would be concerned it could be a super fake. You would also have VAT and import duty to pay?
I would continue the search for a UK based WOC.

This is a UK company I’ve bought from before and they give you an authentication certificate. As you can see it’s much more expensive than the eBay one.
So the one you are looking at seems cheap for a real one and of course way too expensive for a fake. I’d be concerned about how you would be able to return it if you were concerned that it wasn’t real since it comes from Japan.

I went to purchase a mini flap before Christmas but they only had orange! So I came home with a black WOC, I love the size just so easy for cross body.

I wouldn’t go that far…women aren’t allowed nice handbags. Women are allowed spend the equivalent (or many multiples thereof) on wedding dresses, holidays, cars, jewellery etc, DHs are allowed have expensive hobbies etc, but a woman wanting to spend a 4 figure sum on a handbag attracts bizarre opprobrium for some reason.

I've noticed a couple of you mentioning a Marmont.
I am currently thinking of buying a small marmont (camera bag) or the YSL Lou - does anyone have an opinion on both and which they prefer - the Gucci is a tad bigger I think and of course the gold chain.
Opinions/comments would be very welcome 😀

I have both the small Gucci marmont and 2 YSL lou lou (I've got the toy padded ones one in bubble gum pink and one in black)

They are both gorgeous but the ysl is softer and more buttery leather , whereas the Marmont is thicker leather and seems more "hardy"

Although tbh my black Lou I've had almost 2 years and worn daily and it still looks brand new so I do think they wear well too

I have the old style Gucci Disco which is the camera bag. It holds loads and has been on many a holiday with me. Very useful day bag. Whereas I think the YSL is more dressy.

Still using my trusty Gucci, which my ddog also uses as a pillow!

I have a small Marmont and a YSL loulou - both feel quite dressy but not over the top. I’d say the loulou was slightly more with the brighter chain and logo, whereas my Marmont is a bit ‘duller’ so more discreet…

I am currently eying up a Loewe mini puzzle in silver. I totally love it but have I completely lost my mind? Have been looking at the mini puzzle for ages but found the colours uninspiring or the same as bags I already have… and I don’t have anything in silver or with silver hardware, even though I’m cool toned and prefer silver jewellery…
