I like them and would probably wear them to work (if I got a job...) But I am not you.

Tu skirts often have pockets, which is good. I wear quite a bit of Tu stuff. I am in Tu trousers right now.

narniabusiness · 27/02/2024 12:50

I like the print of the second one, but not so keen on the first

UneasyMe · 27/02/2024 12:53

It doesn’t matter what other people think of them. If they don’t make you feel great, take them back!

Deathraystare · 27/02/2024 14:12

I like them both!

No pockets!

I like them both!

I do too but seen a navy midi skirt there this one, wondering if I'd get more wear out of it?

Then I panic seeing the reviews and saw most reviewers are my age and older, maybe I should go for younger trends?!

They look great for work and v reasonable. If it’s a keep one scenario I prefer the print of the 2nd but both are nice.

Thanks for your opinion! They are mostly work stuff!

I love the first one! I'm older than you and would definitely buy it & keep it & wear it to work if I had an office job & if pleated skirts suited me. I've an hourglass shape & they emphasise my hips too much. I often wear Tu clothes & get complimented on them.

InTheRainOnATrain · 27/02/2024 14:29

Not a fan of that navy one and I can’t quite put my finger one why, the shape and the fabric just isn’t quite right. Sorry vague I know. You’re not a teacher are you? They all look quite teachery… of course that’s not a bad thing, and actually all of the teachers at DD’s school are in their 20s or 30s and quite stylish but they all predominantly wear midi skirts in those sorts of styles. I guess they’re practical with young kids as you have good movement and still get full coverage for bending!

SadlyACupOfTeaDoesNotSolveEverything · 27/02/2024 14:33

If you aren’t happy in them then no point in keeping any.

I personally think the 2nd one is beautiful, wish I suited it. The navy is more crinkle roll in a suitcase style to me (and looks ageing). Not sure why when the reviews are your age or older you thought perhaps go for a younger trend?

Im a decade younger and definitely think dress for your shape, not on trend.

TheOGCCL · 27/02/2024 14:35

The navy one looks a bit flimsy and like it's missing some volume. The first one from the OP is OK, don't like the second one.

Dora26 · 27/02/2024 15:02

Love first two but 3rd one just looks boring - and a bit cheap - sorry!

Sususudio · 27/02/2024 15:13

I am not so keen on polyester, but I quite like the second one.

No not a teacher! DM was one (retired). They just look easy to wear and fairly smart/casual.

Very nice I love both

rookiemere · 27/02/2024 16:19

I like both of them, I buy most of my workwear from Sainsburys now as it's in the same shopping complex as my gym.

I try to get things when they have their 20% off which is quite often - if you're unsure you could perhaps keep one and return the other and buy it if reduced.

DonttouchthatLarry · 27/02/2024 16:29

I really like the first one, not so keen on the second - maybe it's the way they've styled it as I much prefer chunky footwear and biker jackets over heels. I might even order one as it will go with my khaki boots so thanks for the link.

LBOCS2 · 27/02/2024 16:36

I have just bought the second one and I'm a decade younger than you. I'll wear it with a tucked in black T-shirt and fairly chunky black ankle boots for work.

theansweris42 · 27/02/2024 16:40

Geo print yes Smudge print definite no :)

SequinBear · 27/02/2024 16:41

I like the first two. Prints that are interested but not too garish, and would go well with black/navy/neutral tops and jackets.

I also like the idea of the third, but it looks totally see-through. To the extent that I'm pretty sure you can see the model is wearing a thong in the photo showing the back of it.....

RokaandRoll · 27/02/2024 16:44

I've just ordered the second one based on your post - so thanks! And obviously I vote you keep that one at least.

FinallyFeb · 27/02/2024 16:46

How about keeping just one as they are quite similar?

Slanketblanket · 27/02/2024 16:46

I nearly bought the same ones but the polyester is my concern. Whenever I've worn a polyester skirt it's just so sweaty I end up leaving sweat marks on chairs as I get up, not a good look!

lindyloo57 · 27/02/2024 16:48

I like the style on others, I have had 3 pleated skirts one in black one in silver grey and one in animal print, I sold them all on ebay as I just feel frumpy in them, when will I learn, just because it looks good on others, don't mean I look good in them.
