What woman and man would you describe as truly beautiful?

And who would you describe as pretty? We were chatting about this at work today and I'm interested to see what everyone else thinks. My nominations are Brad Pitt and Cheryl Cole for 'pretty' and Jonny Depp and Penelope Cruz for beautiful. We also got onto the subject of supposedly pretty people who we think aren't - I'd put Victoria beckham in this category - she's vile!!

Poor ole Victoria Becksman she always reminds me of Michael jacko wacky - they have the same weird features.

I find this toughie because our notion of beautiful is warped, the women that come to mind have had a fair bit of work done on them, so are a false, airbrushed version of beauty.

I caught myself doing it the other night. I was watching Delia Smith's programme and my first thought was 'you need some Botox!', and was then ashamed because women of this age aren't often allowed on our screens or if they do sneak on, they've been stretched, ironed & plumped up to look 20 yrs younger.

See now Joseph Fiennes is beautiful here, hmm and I would say Rachel Weiz is beautiful.

Pretty is more difficult...can't think.

Michelle Pfeiffer has a radiant and luminous beauty which transcends age.

Johnny Depp of course.

Audrey Hepburn was truly beautiful. Can't think of any modern day woman right now.
