What woman and man would you describe as truly beautiful?

And who would you describe as pretty? We were chatting about this at work today and I'm interested to see what everyone else thinks. My nominations are Brad Pitt and Cheryl Cole for 'pretty' and Jonny Depp and Penelope Cruz for beautiful. We also got onto the subject of supposedly pretty people who we think aren't - I'd put Victoria beckham in this category - she's vile!!

Liv Tyler, Anne Hathaway and Cate Blanchette are beautiful.

I actually saw Cate Blanchette in Sydney once and even as a heterosexual woman nearly slammed into a lamppost because I was mesmerised by her. I didn't even realise who she was at the time, I was just thinking oh.my.God.Almighty that woman is stunning.

My friend saw Julia Roberts in real life by chance and said she is truly mesmerising and drew everyones eye. Another friend saw Elle McPherson at her local cinema and said the same thing ie clocking her as beautiful before recognising she is famous.

I know its cliched but Brad Pitt is a stunner.
