Nail wraps

I’ve been seduced by ads for Lily and Fox nail wraps. I love the idea of pretty manicured nails. But I’m hard on my hands (young kids so lots of handwashing and cleaning) and I’m not sure if they can possibly as good as advertised

Has anyone tried them?

Yes, I’m afraid my nails are quite knackered too after a few months of regular nail wrap use 😐

I did use a strengthening base coat, but doesn’t seem to have helped.

Mine just don’t last more than a couple of days. They either keep peeling up from the base, or chip away at the top. When I wash my hair, I can feel them catching. I have to replace them every 4-5 days. I went skiing and they just got ruined from putting my boots on; I can’t imagine they’d cope well on a hot holiday with sun cream application!

Oh my gosh and holy Grail use same supplier, so exactly same wraps, same goes for Etsy wraps. I wouldn't try and figure out which are better, all are the same 👌

I'm going to try nail wraps for the 1st time. I have short nails. If I trim the sticker I'm going to lost the pattern which is on the end! Any tips? Thanks x

You will probably lose the pattern. I have found it best to make sure my nails are bone dry before applying and try not to get your hands wet for at least 6 hours after, hand washing is fine but try not to wash up or wash your hair! Then I add a top coat Rimmel super gel top coat is great really solid . Mine usually last a couple of weeks. The good thing is whilst they're on your nails grow so much longer and I find weirdly that the longer my nails are the stronger they are.

Probably best to choose a design that is the same over the whole wrap, until your nails grow longer (if that’s your aim)?
