dermslogica moisturiser - like that it has SPF and it was ok
F&M Lilas fragrance - I love this so much, I have one left (was in AC three years ago)

REN night cream - I actually don’t mind the fruity smell and it’s good stuff
Espa serum - this was a really nice night serum
Charlotte Mensah hair oil- smelled yummy
SR Good Genes - I love this tho seem to have run out

I have an empty:

• Loreal Elvive bond repair rescue pre-shampoo: I do not use this as a pre-shampoo - I wash my hair, then apply and then leave for as long as I am able - maybe 20-30 minutes and then wash out. I think this makes a difference to the feel of my hair - which is completely overprocessed after years of dying. I would definitely repurchase but am trying the Arkive one next. BTW this is a dead-ringer for the Redken acidic bonding concentrate - funny that, how they share the same parent company....

161) Summer Fridays Cloud Dew - this was also good. Non greasy. I prefer a light gel moisturiser during the summer months.

lumene eye cream, was rubbish and came out of the tube too quick.

Also a vitamin c paste - it was old so I am thriving away.

@PomsRun - I just finished travel-sized bottles of the same Korres body wash & lotion that my lovely DD gave me when I was in hospital recently. In theory, it’s right up my alley, but it smelled like it had curdled or gone bad somehow. I think now, that’s just how it is. (I didn’t have the heart to tell her, as she had put so much thought into it and I had given my family another scare. 😵‍💫) I do like the yoghurt facial cleanser though. Still going on the tiny travel size and have been using it for about a month!

I have only tried a few Korres products - one was a face cream/mask that smelled like Taramasalata (which I adore when made right but not a smell I associate with facial care 🤣). It worked a treat - but I think has now been discontinued.

@Thereislightattheendofthetunnel The Body Shop also has a MLM to it in the UK - as does Tropical skincare and more. It is very unfair because it is almost impossible for the sellers to turn a profit.

@PomsRun - Chuck it out. It’s a weird one. As for the hospital stay…. While it was needed, have come out with no answers and no plan, so a bit frustrated atm. Back at work in my new job, which is a little less exciting but off my feet.

I have had some health issues but have finally got a diagnosis (auto immune disease) and a plan of action. There is a huge sense of relief in knowing what you are dealing with and having an action plan. I hope you get the same soon.

Empties:

Eve Lom cleanser - 20ml. Absolutely loathed the scent of this. It’s horrible (not in an off way, I think it is intentionally made this vile). Didn’t get mascara off properly either, though to be fair I didn’t use it with a hot cloth as per instructions.

Haruharu Wonder black rice hyaluronic toner - 150ml. My favourite Korean toner I’ve tried so far, just lovely to use. Lasted for ages too, so works out good value.

Cosrx Snail 96 mucin power essence - 100ml. Love this stuff, already have another bottle.

Avant rose sheet mask - I haven’t yet met a sheet mask that makes my skin feel nice enough to make up for having to sit around with a cold, slimy bit of fabric on my face for 15 minutes.

Aroma Actives soothing universal repair cream - 15ml. Very thick and I didn’t really know what it was for, so used as a foot cream. It was fine. Smelled very nice.

Philip Kingsley moisture balancing shampoo & conditioner - 250ml/200ml. These were very both good and seemed to suit my hair type. No miracle cure for greasy roots by the next morning though, still had to wash my hair every day.

Noble Isle Rhubarb Rhubarb shower gel - 75ml. Smells and feels lovely. There are tonnes of equally nice, much cheaper shower gels out there though.

Tree Hut watermelon body scrub - 510g. My least favourite of the Tree Hut scrubs I’ve tried, mainly because it left little black seedy bits all over my shower.

The Naked Bee hand & body cream - 45ml. Worked really well as a hand cream, nice and moisturising but sunk in quickly. Wasn’t too keen on the scent, but would use again in a different fragrance.

Empties

Witch Hazel and rose toner. Fine. Prefer a more moisturising one.

Liz Earle balancing drops. These were supposed to shrink my pores to non existence. They didn't.

Lumene illuminator. I liked this. I added a few drops to liquid foundation and it gave me a nice dewy glow that wasn't ott.

REN eye cream. Not a fan. I still have another to get through and it's in loads of advent calendars.

Omorovicza mask. I've had this for ages. It's brilliant at drying up spots so my menopausal skin and dad's exam stress skin eventually used it up.

Empties:- &Honey Melty Damage Control Shampoo & Conditioner, &Honey Silky Soft Shampoo & Condtioner - Also matching hair oils.
Yummiest smelling hair products I have used. Suspect just a wee bit heavy for my hair atm. Very silky initially but weighed it down at the end. Have been using about a year.
Now using Shiseido Fino Shampoo, Conditioner, Mask and Oil and I think it suits better. My hair is super shiny.

Sunday Riley CEO cream - really liked this probably an RP at some point

Nuxe oil this has been sitting around for ages but actually found I really enjoyed using it. I have one more tiny sample bottle but certainly wont be buying more for ages as have plenty of face oil

Avon hair treatment serum - ds won me this in a tombola. It's actually very nice did my hair good and smelt beautiful maybe a RP one day!!

Clarins gentle foaming cleanser Very fond of this but can't seem to find it - have a horrible feeling it's been discontinued

The seated queen serum - thankfully I don't like this as much as the cold cream -- it was OK

L'occtaine almond shower oil - I love this product but I've got 2 more bottles so no need to RP just now

No 7 overnight recover gel - I didn't think much of this It was in a GWP and I'm glad it was as it means I won't make the mistake of buying it. It felt quite nice to put on but didn't seem to do anything!!

No 7 essential moisture day cream - great basic product would RP.

Clains Huile santal Good product but preferred their lotus oil

Joules body smoothing souffle - Very flowery but also very smoothing. It was quite an old fashioned smell somehow but I found it quite pleasant.

I also have empties!

Garnier invisible protect mist 30 spf. Smells fine, did the job. I would have preferred a higher spf as I am white as a ghost so used it to top up after I used the main 50 Spf of the day. Very refreshing as it was cool but I had trouble with the sprayer.

Mercadona Deliplus solar oil 50 spf. You shake it and apply the emulsified lotion. Easy to apply. Smells ok. It contains octocrylane so it’s dangerous for humans and acuatic life. I used it mainly in pools. Would not rp as I also burned my skin with the low quality of this.

2 bath bombs that were ancient. The last remaining. They lost the scent but did fizz. Daughter pleased🤣. Would not rp.

Paw patrol skye 2 in 1 shower gel and shampoo. Smelt nice. Works better as a shower gel than shampoo. For some reason most of 2 in 1 work better as gels anyway. Was a gift. Too much plastic to rp.

exfoliant cream for heels by Deliplus. I thought it was a scrub but it is the consistency of a cream with pumice stone bits. I didn’t like it. Won’t rp.

Halley insects repellent. Does the job. Smells ok. Would rp.

Deliplus shampoo with honey. Smells lovely, like denenes. A citrusy bergamot fragrance. Lathers ok. Good price. Would rp at some point.

Sanex natur protect deodorant. Does the job but sometimes it’s not good enough. Won’t Rp.

A cleansing balm for face in a study. Smells like nothing and feels like it suffocates my pores. Would not use it if I new the brand.

Hawaian tropic luminosity 50 sun lotion. Smells quite weird, like a plasticky type of scent. Leaves a bit of sparkles on skin like shiny eyeshadow. Spreads ok. Won’t rp.

Nivea sun 50 spf kids in roll on. I would love this if the same scent is available in a bigger format without rollon. Smells like lilacs. I love it. Bonus point: my daughter applied it herself.

Deliplus waterproof solar cream for children 50+. Smells ok. Bad composition. Spreads ok. Would not rp because of ingredients.

An ancient edt by Yves rocher. Les plaisirs nature kiwi scent. Used to smell ok, like kiwi-esque. Unfortunately it turned so used it up at bathtime. Discontinued, could not rp even if I wanted to.

Can I ask if I'm alone in really not liking SR Good Genes. There was a sample in a Liberty box and all it did for me was to make my skin sting and feel really dry.

Everyone else seems to really like it so far as I can tell. Am I missing something here? I've liked all the other SR products I've tried but not Good Genes.
