Cartier ring - decisions decisions!

Finally, my chance to post about high end stuff after plugging Uniqlo and Next on here for years!

I have always loved Cartier jewellery and am now very fortunate to be able to choose a wedding band from there.

I have 2 favourite styles I've loved forever, both Cartier classics, and now have to pick one! The 'Love' or 'Trinity' in either gold or tricolour.

Any opinions, experiences etc that would sway me one way or the other would be much appreciated! I'm 100% committed to one of the two though, and won't be entertaining other options. If you hate them both and just want to come on and tell me that.... be my guest I suppose, I don't really care

If you love Cartier , they have a very plain ring called 1895 wedding band that comes in several widths.

That’s as well as one of the rings you like for another finger, of course !

I think you said that the photo of engagement ring was a similar ring to yours? If that’s the case I would go for a plain band as your engagement ring is fancy. Personally I think that both rings are unlikely to suit your engagement ring as one is too modern and angular, the other too fancy.

Personally I’d choose the Cartier Panther :))

It's my bet you don't get either, although I like them both a lot. With your ring, I'd opt for one of the bands with diamonds set all round.

I have the Cartier trinity for my wedding ring! (As does my husband)

I wear it on my right hand as my engagement ring is a stand-alone ring, so I wanted something a bit more substantial than just a band.
We've been married for 10 years and I'm still happy with my choice of ring (and most of the time husband!)

One thing about the LOVE ring is that they don't resize it due to the design on the band. So if you were to lose/gain weight you wouldn't be able to wear it. Whereas the trinity is tricky to resize but doable, so it's more of a forever ring.

They can engrave the rings too, I have my name on the rose gold, DH name on the yellow gold and wedding date on the white gold.

I don't think either would go with that style of engagement ring. The problem with the Cartier Love style is that there are just so many copies of it.

I have & love the Trinity-bought for me as a gift 25 years ago and I still wear it every day. It never goes out of style and goes well with all other jewellery
