I want to smell like the ocean - perfume ideas

Hi! I loved Body Shop Oceanus - I can't find anything similar or that smells like the ocean at all - every summery thing I have tried smells of coconut!

I don't want to smell like men's aftershave. Just the ocean.

I love scents like this too and Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt has been my everyday perfume for years. I also like the M&S Sea Salt & Neroli and on the ££ side, Tom Ford Neroli Portofino is my absolute favourite.

Fleurs de Sel by Miller Harris - very much a salt and seashore kind of fragrance.

The perfume is my favourite thing, LaSource is a real comfortable reassuring smell, reminds me of summer as a child X

L'Eau D'Issey is very aquatic. Lovely scent.

I wore Isis on my wedding day in 1995. I absolutely loved it. It was re-branded as Aqua a good few years ago, for obvious reasons.
Google says Isis was launched in 2011, but I absolutely know it was my wedding perfume. 🤷‍♀️

You’re right - Isis was around well before 2011.

Yes I wear it m and s Isis perfume became renamed as ‘Aqua’ but essentially it’s a dupe for Issey Mayski, it might be l’eau d’issey. I haven’t seen it in m and s for a while. I love these scents and also wear Davidoff Cool Water Woman. It’s a light and fresh scent.

I loved the original Isis perfume. I looked it up and the one launched in 2011 is not the same bottle. This is the one I remember

The isis one was lovely. Op have a look this is popular in ireland. Inis perfume ocean like scent. Really nice. Scottish fine soaps do a sea kelp its fab too.

Can you still get Aqua at M&S? I'd love a shower gel and moisturiser! I have a bottle of Isis from post 2002 but I was wearing it before then. It used to be my go to scent. I wore it every day in the late 90s. That and a green tea spray, probably from Boots.

Agree with pp suggestion Molton Brown Coastal Cypress and Sea Fennel. Beautiful ocean smell.
