No spoilers please, but had anyone had their August box yet? Last month I received it on July 1st but I've not even had a dispatch email yet.

Hi all. Those that got the full sized candle a few boxes ago, can you light the wick okay? I've only managed to light it once and tried to light it again a few days ago and it just doesn't work! I've trimmed the wick, pooled a little bit wax out to get more wick out but it just doesn't light Blush I'm disappointed as it's a huge candle and I really like the scent. Anyone with this issue?

@dullandgrey I had a similar problem but mine only happened when I was down to the last third of the candle. So I just binned it and thought I won't buy any candles from them if this is what happens. (I tend not to buy expensive candles anyway so...)

My box is apparently arriving tomorrow. They seem to be extra slow this month? Given it's already the 6th and not many people see to have received them. Fine if the contents are worth the wait though.

@HundredMilesAnHour ah noo, that's not great. I think I will email them. It's a massive candle and it's only been lit once so feels like a huge waste.

I received my box just now (and second one is on the way apparently). I'm slightly less thrilled than everyone else - mainly because I've had one of the items before (and I didn't love it then). But I will refrain from commenting further until everyone has their boxes.

Sorry to ask, but does anyone know which box it was that came with the large candle? Not the candle that we got in the metal tin thing. I believe it was box 004?

My box has just arrived. It's my second month with Haeckels and I've been thrilled with both boxes. Both have been excellent value and contained great products which I will use.

I only got one sample. Assume the people who got two just got lucky as Haeckels made a mistake.

I’ve just opened mine – very pleased! This is my third box and I was thinking of cancelling after this one (just to save some money and get through the products I have) but they’ve made the next box sound really good so I may stick with it till January: ‘we’re delivering one of our most requested products ever in this one and including a very special one’.
