Haeckels subscription box

No spoilers please, but had anyone had their August box yet? Last month I received it on July 1st but I've not even had a dispatch email yet.

@Cyclingmummy1 I must read that more carefully as I didn't understand the clues at all! In fact in the latest box, I tried the sample and it lavers up so much I needed a flannel to get rid of the residue. I've only used the room spray so far.

It suggests using the container in this month's box as an espresso cup so I assumed it was a collab with Watch House. Maybe I'm reading too much into it.

And I do agree @SmithfamilyRobinson, I was expecting more beauty too. Give me a mainline mainline product like a cream, rather than an obscure one like seaweed tea.

Sounds very much like WatchHouse coffee then. Which I like a lot but I'm not seeing how that counts as a collab item. And we already had the WatchHouse body lotion in an earlier box (and I'm using the WatchHouse handwash in my kitchen at present - and I'm disappointed it doesn't actually smell of coffee).

I though it would be a pack of coffee, in which case there also needs to be something to filter it through - which makes it an expensive item but maybe not one with great value.

Ah I assumed it would be coffee from Ozone and maybe some kind of new coffee scrub or something?!

I will drink their coffee 😀
I get the tea, Aveda sell something similar, but coffee is more a grocery item. Not special at all. But keeping an open mind. And only one cup...? Odd. They need to do user testing. (Puts hand up to try out beauty products 🙏).

My box arrived today! One of the products (not the sample) seems a bit small to be classed as ‘full size’? This is my first box and I will probably keep the subscription going for now.

@rougechaotic you may be right - I went with Watch House as I knew there had been a collab.

Mine still isn't here... think I've consistently been one of the last to receive it.

Still not arrived, just messaged them as I haven't even had a shipping notice. You guys just crack on and I'll avoid the thread until it's here!

I had the same problem last month @Lotsofpots. I get the feeling they've taken on more orders than they can handle.

@AnneShirleysNewDress I also get that feeling - particularly with contents of this box!

I find it odd that a couple of months ago they were saying they had the next x number of boxes planned out and there are lots of exciting and interesting products to come. But this one isn't anyone's favourite, and the first three with the skin care were much more covetable. I wonder why they've changed direction to now wellness/lifestyle products?

@Cyclingmummy1 i think it’s probably to do with the amount of subscribers and what they can get in bulk quickly! I’m so sad I missed the first three boxes - they were amazing! I liked the fourth box but really haven’t been impressed by the last two

@rougechaotic but why change the plan? Why not restrict the number of subscribers until products could be scaled up? My first box was number 3 and is still my favourite. It was a 'wow'.

@Cyclingmummy1 i have no idea why they didn’t limit the number of subscribers - it would have made sense to keep the quality of the boxes. I guess it’s hard to say no to a massive influx of new monthly customers? Although I get the feeling they have likely lost a lot of subscribers this month..

Sad I missed the first few boxes too.

The current box has grown on me although I cannot fathom paying £30 for that small main line product! I thought it was a sample size!

I wish the second product was bigger but reading the leaflet it evokes my local area in London so that’s quite nice!

I'm curious to see if Haeckels make any changes to the next box or two. They seem to have lost quite a few subscribers this month although maybe that's actually a good thing as it might put things back to a more manageable level for them.

I'm hoping there will be more skin care @HundredMilesAnHour

What is in this month's box?

Haeckels just confirmed on Discord that we can use vouchers in store now too! Thinking about resubscribing now as they seem to be really taking feedback on board!

Mine finally arrived today. I'm chuffed with it - all products i will enjoy using.
