Best mascara is the lancome waterproof one. Gorgeous long lashes all day long and no smudging.

Here

Furball · 27/02/2008 11:43

Boots natural collection - Waterguard in black

£1.99 - what a bargain! great stuff and great price. Does exactly what it should, doesn't smudge or clump.

SheherazadetheGoat · 27/02/2008 11:44

all mascaras make me red eyed and sore. help me!

pre freaky eyes i was a lancome girl but waterproof concept is alarming as you spend the next week eeking it out of your crows feet.

DualCycloneCod · 27/02/2008 11:44

i had a lancome one then they have me a really vampy one wiht a new wand and it smudged

SheherazadetheGoat - try the one in my link further down - it's dermalogically tested and also at only £1.99 won't be that much of a waste of money if it doesn't suit

BeauLocks · 27/02/2008 11:50

I wear contact lenses and have really sensitive eyes and the lancome hypnose is the only one to do it for me. It even stays on after I've been in the gym/out for a run.

BeauLocks · 27/02/2008 11:51

And use the bifacil eye make up remover to take it off. It works brilliantly.

fishie · 27/02/2008 11:54

i want non-waterproof, don't like fibres and can't use most removers.

have tried blue benefit is jolly good but doesn't lengthen much if you are after that. enormous clonking great brush. no nasty fibres to irritate eyes, doesn't smudge and is easy to remove. also just sort of vanishes without going all down my face at swimming.

also l'oreal telescopic amazing brush/comb thingy, best i have ever come across. but slightly sticky mascara, hard to remove with cleanser alone. doesn't smudge but ran down face at swimming and then wouldn't come off when i rubbed it, v bad.

ideal world would have the telescopic brush in the benefit blue.

DualCycloneCod · 27/02/2008 11:55

B so does baby oil!

OP posts:
BeauLocks · 27/02/2008 12:04

God no - baby oil makes my eyes itch like mad, is seriously greasy and sticks to my lenses for days.

You asked for opinions, I gave you mine to help you out. Ignore it by all means but the lancome mascara would cover the pricey bit of your "survey".

Max Factor Masterpiece Max Gives plenty of coverage, adds a bit of lenght, stays put and is easy to remove, and not a gloop in sight. For under £7 it can't beaten.

I know people rave about Dior Show, but I found lumpy and gloopy after just a week or two.

boomie · 28/02/2008 15:56

Rubbish at doing links but it has to be YSL Faux Cils. It is THE BEST MASCARA and even smells nice too!!! Believe me, I have tried them all and this is the best.

nailpolish · 28/02/2008 16:02

this

super duper

fab fab fab

stays on all day and the colour is very intense

lasts for ages - you dont need tons and tons just a wee stroke

plus the packaging is lovely

nailpolish · 28/02/2008 16:04

www.lancome.co.uk/_en/_gb/catalog/subcategory.aspx?CategoryCode=AXEMakeup^F1_Eyes^F2_Eyes_Mas caras the dog's whatsits of mascaras

Slouchy · 28/02/2008 16:17

I refuse to spend more than £7 on a mazzy cos they need chucking away after 3mo (bacteria, don'tcha know). Currently like MaxFactor Voluminous in waterproof but it can be a bit tranny (and apparently fat lashes are 'out' now)

Slouchy · 28/02/2008 16:18

BTW, which hand cream won? (this matters to me )

Merlin · 28/02/2008 16:21

Just started using Benefit Bad Gal which I was given for Xmas. Makes my lashes look really long!

nailpolish · 28/02/2008 16:23

slouchy i think it was clarins

Slouchy · 28/02/2008 16:26

nailpolish · 28/02/2008 16:27
