v bendy wand - great for my weedy lashes but maybe not for all you batforlashes types who want to "layer"

marvellous for contact lens wearers like me who worry about fibres straying

cod - pick mine as the "natural" look

i also like the Boots natural collection which a PP recommended

current fave is get bent from benefit

the angle of the wand gives brilliant coverage and really lengthens well. Not the best thickener (that is Max Factor 2000 calorie IMO)

no fibres so doesn't irritate my eyes

stays put all day and easy to remove

used to love YSL volume effect but dried out and went cloggy v quickly IME

I second that for maybelline. I have contact lenses but have used it for years with no prob (think it's called 'greatlash'. The container is green and pink not the mascara!
Beware the waterproof version though - it's not waterproof and runs all down your face then won't come off.

I like slutty lashes and these are really the only ones that do the job.

Aldi have one for about £3 or £4 & its fab, they also do remover cheap but its good, not unlike the simple remover.

For cheaper mascaras, Bourjois are always excellent. They are the Chanel diffusion line, so v. similar to the more expensive Chanel mascaras.

I like Clinique "Long And Pretty" in brown as it's really subtle (I hate it when you can tell that somebody is wearing mascara). It's about £12 I think.

Seriously, does it make you more lashy than 2000 Calorie or Voluminous? Bear in mind that the desired look is 'hoooarr'. If so, I'll get it.

I use blinc mascara and find it fab. It forms tubes around each lash and comes off easily with cotton wool and water it's weird as it comes of in little tubes that look like eyelashes!

the loreal carbon one hits the mark for heavyeyemakeup factor...and really doesn't come off. It's got a good brush too.

I dont bother with mascara, just get my eyelashes tinted
