Been using Benefit Bad gal mascara for over 4 yrs-I love it (although I do have a Benefit obsession so I'm biased )

L'Oreal Cil Architecte £6.99 (launch offer normally £8.99)

I bought this on impulse in 'Carbon Gloss' when I was in Waitrose buying my baby bum butter (see previous thread...)

I hate most mascaras and I am amazed to say that this lives up to its hype. It's 'soft and doesn't give your lashes that spider's leg look. It's also waterproof yet comes off easily when you want it to.

Fab

Hang on...surely spiders' legs are A Good Thing? As long as they are big hairy legs... False eyelashes look kind of spidery, don't they?

PatsyCline · 03/03/2008 19:24

Just to clarify, I always think of those mascaras which give you loads of length but tend to clump as giving you spider's legs lashes. The CIL Architecte manages to make your lashes long and feathery without clumps.

PatsyCline · 03/03/2008 19:25

I didn't know that I had it in me to take mascara quite so seriously. I've scared myself!

boudoiricca · 03/03/2008 19:34

mascara HAS to be Lancome. FACT. Hypnose is the best. Never clogs. Makes lashes super long and fantastically fanned out. V easy to add layers for more dramatic effect. Not cheap tho...

Wotz · 03/03/2008 19:38

Please find one

PatsyCline · 03/03/2008 20:09

Wotz, I have sensitive eyes and my beloved CIL Architecte has been fine on me.

DualCycloneCod · 03/03/2008 20:09

what si th gold one called?

WideWebWitch · 03/03/2008 20:11

Well, for me the jury's out on Blinc BUT it is amazing in that it puts these 'tubes' on your eyelashes so a) it STAYS on and b) Doesn't smudge and you just kind of pull these spidery things off at the end of the day.

Odd stuff but good once you get used to it.
