Scent that people have stopped you and asked what it is

Just that really. I'd love to know what scent you have worn that others have commented positively on, or where strangers have asked what perfume it is.
Please let me know which brand/names that have elicited this reaction and whether from a man or a woman?

Escada release a different 'summer' scent every year along those lines.

Me too @Ancientdecs I have an escada one for that reason. Don't wear it in countries with lots of mosquitos though as they love a fruity smell.

Most recently ....Britney Spears spritzer. Unbelievably 😃 I only gave myself a spritz of it as it was just sitting there on the shelf.

I have the molecule dupe and never once had a compliment, but it's smells so great on DD. She always gets complimented.

Thanks to this thread, I'm now wearing Gorse by Perfume Laboratory and I absolutely love it. I'm so looking forward to when my sample of Amber from the same perfume house arrives in a few days. Really intrigued to try it.

Gorse smells of bright fresh lemons mixed with a delicious toasted coconutty warmth that is genuinely evocative of the stunning yellow gorse bushes near where I live, and their gentle honey scent. I'm really impressed. It's the perfect summer fragrance. Although you do have to be okay with coconut.

I have got so many perfumes but there is 1 that I wear which I frequently get asked about much more than any other - Escentric Molecules 01 which I started wearing this after asking someone what they were wearing 😄. Take note though that you may not be able to smell it on yourself but others will be able to.

To a much lesser extent I have been asked a few times when I have been wearing Jo Malone Pear and Freesia and also Ormande Jayne Taif

Bizarrely - Sunflower - I didn't like it when it came out, but bought it as a retro cheap work perfume and I get loads of compliments.

Honestly? When I use my body spray at work I've had comments from patients saying what's that nice perfume you're wearing.,
It's actually Vaseline Aloe Sensitive deodorant spray £1 from Boots!!

It's the one perfume that always gets a question, everyone always asks what it is. It's one of my all time favourites.
So many scents get worn to death nowadays, I prefer to find ones that are unusual and not instantly recognisable. I used to love Baccarat Rouge but I smell it absolutely everywhere now and got sick of it really quickly.

Oh speaking of Lush.. I absolutely love Karma soap and perfume.

Idylle hasn't been discontinued. Guerlain have changed bottles again.
