Scent that people have stopped you and asked what it is

Just that really. I'd love to know what scent you have worn that others have commented positively on, or where strangers have asked what perfume it is.

Chloe for me too, I just remember this when I come to buy my next bottle of perfume!

Off the back of a similar thread, I recently bought a bottle of Lovely by SJP without trying it. It was on offer in Savers so I thought I’d give it a go. So disappointed. It is awful on me, I’ve relegated it to an air freshener in the downstairs loo.

It's lucky if your favourite scent is loved by others.

I remember (about 30 odd years ago) lots of people were wearing White Linen and I thought it smelt beautiful and clean.

I bought some and it did smell goodish on me after the initial smell of cat wee.

@StellaGibson2022 I'm afraid not, it's more of a light lemony/chypre. I've never found anything like Cristalle really apart from Yardley Jade which is now discontinued

I once stopped a random man in the street because his cologne was incredible. Almost made me weak at the knees haha. It was Issey Miyake. I now wear the female version and get compliments on it all the time.

I also love 'Au thé Blanc' by Bvlgari and that gets a lot of compliments too.

Is Molecule 01 really that amazing? I keep reading about people getting stopped in the street while wearing it but I’m wondering if that’s just hype?

Someone at worked remarked on it when I was wearing it - it's very 'fresh' and oceanic on me. I couldn't tell if she liked it or not so didn't include it in my list 😁
