SOTD: (new payday buy) Lalique le parfum - it's a dry aromatic vanilla, I bought it after trying some that a friend had. (Also fairly cheap which is a bonus). I think it's rather lovely and quite calming.

SOTD is Dans tes bras - haven't worn it for a while as the weather has been too hot but I absolutely love it and am down to the dregs of the bottle.

So sorry about your doggie, @Cantonet - I had to bring my cat to the vet (she's fine, must have eaten something dodgy while out on cat business and was being sick/not herself) last week and it really hit home to me how much pets are family members.

Just been to the pool and my post swim SOTD is Black Opium. Felt like something a bit heavier after a few weeks of mainly light, citrusy scents.

SOTN is No19. A bit cooler here on the edge of London, too, which is actually a relief. It's respite from the much too hot weather of the past few weeks, which has made it stifling in this flat.

SOTD was Juliette Has a Gun Magnolia Bliss. I bought their summer sample set of 5 miniatures because I couldn't resist the cute bottles. It's lovely. I've gone off florals recently but I like this one with its musky, vanilla undertones a
lot.

SOTE Zara Red Vanilla. Supposedly this is a dupe for La Vie Est Belle, but I'm not getting a similarity at all.

It's my birthday tomorrow, so I was going to wear Aromatics Elixir tonight for nostalgia. Then I remembered that it's given me a headache the last couple of times I've worn it, and that would not make for a good birthday at all.

So, SOTN is Samsara. Once I'd applied it, I remembered Shalimar, but Samsara will more than do with its opulent sandalwood, jasmine, high powder aura.

SOTD NRFH. Yesterday was Diptyque Eau Papier.
