Victoria Beckham has great skin, how?

How to get the 'glossy' groomed look. She's transformed her skin, how? Ditto Donna Air, what's the secret? She's just radiant and neither are young.

Is it possible for the ordinary 40 or 50 something to look like an A lister? And WHAT is it, exactly, that they do that makes them look so much better with firmer jaws etc?

In addition to eating mostly fish and vegetables, she's been working on her skin with the help of facialists and other skin experts for at least a decade now. She's had all the usual tweakments, and most recently, it's laser treatment. Apologies for linking to the Daily Mail.

Laser and IPL can be extremely dangerous in the wrong hands, google laser damage, people have had their faces melted. There are lots of injectables these days that are not filler but improve hydration etc and can really make you glow. They dont last though so v expensive long term. I think VBs lower face surgery is a bit dodgy, lumpy and fragile looking. I was shocked to see Josie Gibson recently, shes had a tonne of work done, it looks good to be fair, although shes unrecognisable.

I think she looks great. It’s probably a variety of treatments but also her very strict diet (steamed fish and vegetables with no day off).

Yup. Unless you have wrecked your skin with alcoholism or massive sun exposure, genetics is the biggest factor in how you age.

I remember Donna Air when she was at school. She was beautiful and had lovely skin then. I presume she's naturally gorgeous.

Oh my gosh, cannot believe so many of you are paying homage to the way she looks and how she has achieved this. It is so obvious, even from a distance that her face is full of plastic/rubber/silicone and it does not look good.

She looks awful, scary, just like the Trinny adverts that pop up on my facebook feed. I turn down the sound and watch in horror. I am fascinated most by how the muscles around her mouth are not strong enough to carry her lips, so they just dangle down, like bingo wings.

All those lasers have given her pachyderm skin too. Do they cause some kind of excessive cellular mitosis?

I am not against surgery and tweakments at all, but these results are not good.

I don't follow any celebs closely or follow them on Instagram but when I occassionally see pics of VB looking youthful and fresh faced I just assume she's filtered the pic!! I didn't realise she looked like it in RL!

@CinnamonJellyBeans superficially at least she looks better, skin wise, than 95 per cent of age group.

As an aside, I admire VB’s drive & work ethic & discipline, noting those that have it game change their lives & their families lives…

Interestingly re: Donna A, @usernother did her skin ‘glow’ & I wonder if the genetically blessed do just naturally ‘glow’? Into middle age & beyond?

@CinnamonJellyBeans Trinny looks, superficially at least, pretty great for a woman pushing 60. I’d rather look like her than the average woman of her age AND she’s enviably physically fit & driven.

I'd forgotten Trinny! Yes, similar lip thing to Victoria. It's a cross between a chimp and a trout - and I'm sorry to say so. It's like they've been competently filled but the aesthetic is lacking. They have the money for good work too. It's puzzling. I think they've had the wrong method used and an overfill, but that's a guess. They'd have been better leaving well alone.

Though I've also watched Trinny's videos in fascination. She's often flogging that blur stuff, but her own face is filtered in the video and she clearly has a face full of filler in addition. I hope nobody is fooled into buyer the line blur potion!

Trinny, arguably, looks much better now than she did in her 20s. People say her cosmetics are good & I like the stackable concept for travel. Anyone use?

Guess, the danger is you end up ‘line chasing’ & ‘work’ becomes addictive.
