Wedding booked, no dress, please help me

In desperate need of help please!

Wedding booked for end of August, and I am nowhere close to even knowing what I will wear.

I'm a 16/18 and in my late 30s, I'm toying with non-traditional (so colours or even black/silver/grey) I don't ever wear white and can't imagine wearing it. I'd want sleeves and that's all I really know. Wedding is registry office then reception at a village hall.

I'm so stressed and the sizing of wedding dresses is making me feel even worse. Can you please help me?

What’s your budget? :)

What’s your budget? :)

I can't imagine spending more than £800 for something I'd never wear again but for the right dress, I'd consider more. Sorry if that doesn't help much though 😬

When I say not traditional I mean more colour-wise. I am looking for a wedding-y/bridal dress (I think!)

Love the silver Outnet one posted by @ArseMenagerie

Oh wow love the silver sequin one

Thanks so much for the suggestions so far. I do want it to be bridal - but I do love this, though it's out of stock atm. WIll keep an eye on that.

The yellow and green one not so much, I'd look like a vibrant sausage 😅

I'm leaning more to darker colours and really considering black or grey.

I would say try some on. My friend was determined to not have ivory/white but we persuaded her to try some on for style and she realised the ivory looked really good with her colouring

This looks lovely, and somewhat weddingy but in a dark colour although probably not enough of a sleeve for you?

Look for Curvy Brides Boutique on YouTube/Google.
You are the smaller end of the size range that they do. They genuinely seem to want every bride to find her perfect dress. I believe their dresses start at around £800.

Go bespoke. I had my dress designed and made by a dressmaker. She came up with sone designs, we shopped for fabric together. It was fabulous, non traditional (but still bridal) and totally unique.

And £800?

you might struggle to find something Bridal in black to be honest OP!
