Wedding booked, no dress, please help me

In desperate need of help please!

Wedding booked for end of August, and I am nowhere close to even knowing what I will wear.

I'm a 16/18 and in my late 30s, I'm toying with non-traditional (so colours or even black/silver/grey) I don't ever wear white and can't imagine wearing it. I'd want sleeves and that's all I really know. Wedding is registry office then reception at a village hall.

I'm so stressed and the sizing of wedding dresses is making me feel even worse. Can you please help me?

I'd prefer not white - I do like this though, but not available in my size.

I think I'd be too hot in velvet in August - thanks though.

Try a small bridal shop even just to try on dresses so you get an idea of style. I bought a sample dress from a local boutique for £600 but they had loads of lovely dresses for £200. Also ended up with something totally different than I thought

Stunning

I love this but I think it wouldn't look good on me - looks amazing on the model though. I think I'm struggling seeing things on very slim models knowing it won't look like that on me.

I feel your pain as a size 16. Why not look at Coast curvy range, or just buy a white pants suit and a nice top? I think Mint Velvet have some pretty nice ones. I know you might not think about it but a jumpsuit is a really stunning option: look at this: https://www.asos.com/vila-curve/vila-curve-bridal-tailored-jumpsuit-with-knot-front-in-white/prd/204006858?clr=cloud-dancer&colourWayId=204006860&cid=28187

Lovely dress but not a fan of the stars in the black.

I need sleeves sorry and it has to be a dress and not white. I just don't suit jumpsuits and DP hates them, the wedding would be off 😂 I'm looking at Coast though thank you!

Another vote for Wed2B. I was a size 20 when we got married and the experience in a "normal" wedding dress shop was soul destroying. They had promised me they had plus size dresses in stock to try on, but they didn't have a single one above a 14. Never again.

Wed2B was brilliant - I went to the right sized racks and picked out options immediately. I could have tried on dozens if there was time!

Don't forget any strapless or non-arm covering dress can have a jacket added to create sleeves if you don't want sleeves added to it - https://www.wed2b.com/accessories/jackets.
