Wedding booked, no dress, please help me

In desperate need of help please!

Wedding booked for end of August, and I am nowhere close to even knowing what I will wear.

I'm a 16/18 and in my late 30s, I'm toying with non-traditional (so colours or even black/silver/grey) I don't ever wear white and can't imagine wearing it. I'd want sleeves and that's all I really know. Wedding is registry office then reception at a village hall.

I'm so stressed and the sizing of wedding dresses is making me feel even worse. Can you please help me?

Not sure if it’s your style but check out Nancy Mac, they sell gorgeous dresses in various styles really and also do bespoke bridal. I am sure they would be able to do an adapted version of a regular dress easily. The dress below I wore to a wedding as a guest when I was a 16/18 and it is lovely. They could probably do full length or longer sleeves.

OP this is nice - long sleeved and not traditional but still bridal. Available in a range of colours. I actually quite like the taupe one!

There are bridal shops that specialise in larger sizes OP, have you searched for one in the Midlands?
In the NW there is Kate's Bridal in Clitheroe which people travel to go to, she seems to have loads of choice. If you fancied a weekend trip, it's a great town in a gorgeous part of the world!

Look at chi chi London, they have some plus size, then perhaps a local dressmaker who can do minor alterations. Much more affordable

I've been prom dress shopping online with Teen. At JJ House there is an offer where you can try on 3 dresses at home for £20. You then have the choice of either returning them or buying a sample dress at a discount.
