Getting married in 2 weeks and no dress

So for various reasons my husband and I had a celebrant wedding which I hated but ticked all the boxes for everyone else….. we are now doing the legal part in secret, just the 2 of us and I am SO happy and excited - but I have nothing to wear!

My original dress was big, expensive, chosen by the kids and gave me sequin scars. I promised myself for this legal part I would wear something that made me happy….. but turns out that’s a hard brief to fill.

I’m a size 16 which huge boobs and belly. I am only 5ft 2 and hate the way I look to be honest.

I originally wanted something none bridal in a bright colour, then I was toying with jeans and trainers, and now I’m wondering if I want to wear a more boho / relaxed wedding dress seeing as I hated mine so much first time and this would be a chance to be the kind of bride I wanted to be?

Can anyone help me in any way, because at this rate I’m going to be messing up my secret special wedding that the thought of kept me going during the rubbish first wedding!

I am still here, but I didn’t want to bump the post once it became an ad as it has a photo of me on it. It’s one thing having a post in style and beauty, and another having it plastered all over the site. So I ran away!

Anyway, I wanted to say I’ve chosen a dress and I’m so grateful for all your help. The wafty ones from needle and thread and hope and Ivy were beautiful but my figure needs more structure. I NEED to post them back though as I have about £1.5k worth of dresses sat in my kitchen currently and I’m rubbish at remembering to return stuff!

I’ve attached the photo of the dress I’m going with - I’ve got navy blue shoes, clutch and pashmina to go with it. It’s just over a week now and I am super excited. Thank you all again for all your help - I am bowing out the thread now as like I say, I freaked when it became an ad and was everywhere on the site instead of tucked away Flowers

Beautiful dress. You could report that post and ask if the photo could be removed?
