Just as above, I am looking for a really nice shower gel that will leave a lovely smell in the bathroom (and on me).

Thanks

Waitrose essentials grapefruit shower gel scents the whole of our upstairs. It's about 99p for a bottle.
I love Sanctuary Spa as that makes the bathroom smell lovely, but it's a bit pricier and I usually only get it for a Christmas or a birthday present.

How much do you use for god's sake in a shower?

One small squirt every day.

Dunno, just the average amount so I thought! Dh goes through a shower gel a week, I go through one every 10 days or so. One squeeze per limb pretty much, had no idea this was seen as decadently excessive to get my body clean and fresh 😂
I can’t fathom how little you must be using to clean yourself, and vice versa!

PAFMO · 16/01/2023 14:59

Badedas. It lasts for ages because it's so concentrated. Brilliant stuff and not over sweet

dottydaily · 16/01/2023 15:00

Molton brown…you smell great and so does your bathroom…

beAsensible1 · 16/01/2023 15:02

anything from lush to be honest, Sleepy is one of my favourite scents.
Or something with tuberose base notes, for a warm and woody smell

Findyourneutralspace · 16/01/2023 15:06

We use the Teatree and Mint one. It leaves the bathroom smelling lovely. I thought one of the teens had taken it upon themselves to clean the bathroom the other day, then realised he’d just had a shower

StrychnineInTheSandwiches · 16/01/2023 15:12

I'm agog at one person going through a full bottle of shower gel in a week.

My fave is L'Occitane's almond oil. Smells divine.

I'll second spa sanctuary. I got a set for Xmas and I love it. In fact I've just cleaned the bath ready to soak in it later with the spa sanctuary bath float. The other one I love is soap and glory. It smells gorgeous and lingers for ages on your skin too.

I can't stand the scent of Elemis frangipani though. Smells off to me.

One squeeze per limb!! Get yourself a shower pouffe @TheChosenTwo 😀

Starlitexpress · 16/01/2023 15:23

Clinique Aromatics shower gel is divine. I keep it for special occasions or quite frankly when I just want a treat!

Agree, best applied with shower puff to really get the lather going.

NooNakedJacuzziness · 16/01/2023 15:24

I was given a White Company shower gel for Xmas which stinks to high heaven for ages. Not keen on it myself but it most definitely lingers (as does the body lotion unfortunately).

Saintasaurus · 16/01/2023 15:41

Soap & Glory clean on me!

It astounds me how many people aren’t aware that artificial fragrance is horrendously toxic for us and can contribute to hormone disruption and cancers.

superstar63 · 16/01/2023 15:53

Thanks for all the suggestions and I have ordered the Radox and also Badedas which I have had before but had forgotten about so thanks for the reminder.

The Waitrose grapefruit sounds lovely too but not a shop near me unfortunately.

I used to love the gok wan shower gel. The whole room smelt lovely all day as did I

Do they still make it?

AtomicRitual · 16/01/2023 15:57

My favourite ever shower gel scent is Radox for men. For some reason it really reminds me of my youth and I'd use it myself if it wasn't quite so masculine!

Unfortunately I have rotten skin, so have to use a Sanex shower gel that is fragrance free 🙁

Nolosomi · 16/01/2023 16:09

This smells amazing & is brilliant quality for the price.

How much are you all using that radox and Original Source ones are scenting your bathrooms and upstairs for hours after?!

Ours never leave a lasting scent and we use both

Is there a source for this?

Surely this is common knowledge..?

LoveLabradors · 16/01/2023 16:34

Korres shower gels smell lovely. I get them in TK maxx. I love vanilla cinnamon and also guava. The pp who simply suggested bar soap, I find generally with all bar soap from tiny natural companies to neste Dante that they all lose their scent fairly quickly, long before they are finished. The only soap which doesn’t is Neom great day soap, the scent stays. Plus it is palm oil free and it annoys me how many soap companies use palm oil! Unfortunately it looks like Neom may have discontinued it..

I've been really enjoying the Aromatherapy range at M&S, it looks classy and smells really good if you like spa type fragrances.

Another vote for these - they all smell lovely and last ages. Annoyingly they did a lovely mini shower gel in their advent calendar that you can't buy a full size version of.

'common knowledge' and yet scented shower gels are still on sale?

How mysterious...
