M&S 12 days of Sparks - it's back!

Can't see a thread, please correct me if I'm wrong.

M&S has brought back its 12 days of Sparks offers. It was notoriously bad last year, but day 1 and I have a free hand cream to pick up in store. Not sure if I'll get the chance, but seems a stronger start than last year at least.

Oh well I am pissed off now. We do all our weekly shop at marks and spend thousands a year. The utter bstuds. 🤣🤣🤣

Very envious of the free snow globe plum gin! I got a Percy pig plush bauble, which I probably won't bother collecting. Loved this thread last year, can't remember if we all got the same things in the end in a different order? Obviously we all got Gary Barlow, or 'Bloody Gary Barlow' as the woman on the checkout said to me, with eyeroll.

I remember that the offers didn't seem to be very well targeted last year, eg people with no children getting money off kids clothing etc. Isn't that the point of algorithms?

I got a hand cream too! This is completely new to me and whilst it's on my offers there isn't anything to scan anywhere on my app - surely we don't just pick it up and walk out with it?

I got free all butter shortbread Xmas tree biscuits.
How do you collect the gift? My nearest M&S is a small food hall type place and I they only have self service checkouts. Do you need to speak to a staff member or do you scan the QR code at the self checkout to get it?

Box of shortbread here. I don’t like shortbread but I can take it into work.

Why not collect them and drop them in a food bank collection or give to the first child you see?
These freebies are a great opportunity for a random act of kindness.

With sparks you just make sure to scan your card at the till and it automatically deducts the price of the item you've got a voucher for.

Yes, but most of the time it will be 10% off a jumper or 50p off a Christmas cake. Worth having if you are wanting that item, but not a bottle of prosecco every day.
