M&S 12 days of Sparks - it's back!

Can't see a thread, please correct me if I'm wrong.

M&S has brought back its 12 days of Sparks offers. It was notoriously bad last year, but day 1 and I have a free hand cream to pick up in store. Not sure if I'll get the chance, but seems a stronger start than last year at least.

Tea light up lantern for me yesterday. Just opened todays and it’s… 15% off crisps. Not sure either are worth bothering to go to the shop for.
I’ve already got the gin - Ocado gave me a free bottle in January, think they’d overstocked! Haven’t drunk it yet.

Definitely not all free gifts! Would have loved a free bottle of booze, hopefully on another day I’ll get one! This was day two, I got the tea light thing yesterday but not sure I’ll pick it up.

I just opened day 1 and got the gin. Day 2 is 20% off Christmas Prosecco. Considering the number of gin in a tins I buy for train journeys I am feeling very well profiled here. If it comes up with candles and Florentines then this gifts are entirely built around my shopping at Marks this year

It's weird how they just can't seem to get the sparks card right. Tesco and Boots I use because the points add up quickly and I can get money off. Boots offers are great because I do often use them to get more points.

I got the 20% off Christmas Prosecco today. I don't know how much it is to start with, so I don't know if this is a bargain or not.

DH got strangely excited- I did point out we could buy crisps at least 15% cheaper at Morrisons permanently- but found out it is because he wants me to buy him some M&S cherry liqueurs ( v good if you like that sort of thing).

can I just say some of you sound quite ungrateful? If it’s a pain to collect then don’t. If it’s something you don’t eat then maybe give it to a food bank. If it’s a string of lights you don’t want then maybe give them to someone. If you don’t want to participate then don’t. But moaning because you don’t like a freebie is a bit much. Especially in the current economic climate and at this time of year.
