M&S 12 days of Sparks - it's back!

M&S has brought back its 12 days of Sparks offers. It was notoriously bad last year, but day 1 and I have a free hand cream to pick up in store. Not sure if I'll get the chance, but seems a stronger start than last year at least.

My Day 1 offer of a Percy Pig plush bauble is out of stock. I see that I can now get a handcream instead. The handcream is out of stock.

My freebie was a box of shortbread which was sold out when I went in, but there’s no alternatives I can have instead - it’s shortbread or nothing! Maybe it will be in stock again by Saturday.

I was in store today and picked up my free tea lantern and a bottle of the 20% off Prosecco. Won't be using the Samsung discount.

On a more positive note DS bought me the Lindt teddy calendar half price and as it only arrived today I had to open all 6 mmmmmm

It's utterly bizarre the going through a calendar opening to get % off something you don't want . I'd love to know what their focus groups say.

Same here. Apart from Percy Pigs on the first day I’ve only had discounts.

It's so rubbish! The free handcream isn't available anywhere and all the other offers are money off shit I'd never buy...

That has to be the meanest offer I've ever heard of. They couldn't even give away a whole biscuit!!

And I say that as someone who could save 15% off Stilton today, which would save me, what, about 25p?!?

M&S need to sack whoever designed this years "offers".

£1 off Swiss truffles in another oddly shaped tin you could never re use. I've got to say these offers are no better and possibly worse than the usual 15% off vegetables (at least useful). Certainly not worth making a fuss about. Feels churlish to grumble but here we are..
