M&S 12 days of Sparks - it's back!

Can't see a thread, please correct me if I'm wrong.

M&S has brought back its 12 days of Sparks offers. It was notoriously bad last year, but day 1 and I have a free hand cream to pick up in store. Not sure if I'll get the chance, but seems a stronger start than last year at least.

Yep Samsung here too. I was actually looking at a Samsung product to buy so my initial thought was this might be the first one I used. But no, it’s off a tiny product list when you read the T&Cs.

if I’d gotten gin, Prosecco, Percy pigs, chocolate balls or even satsumas on day 1 I’d be feeling more enthusiastic but so far nothing to get me in store at all!

Samsung offer here too. I clicked it by accident and it's only valid on 5 Samsung products.

What's the point in that? Statistically the odds of anyone needing one of those specific 5 items this close to Christmas must be minuscule.

Day 1 - Chocolate footballs
Day 2 - 15% off M&S cream liquer
Day 3 - Win tickets to snowman gala
Day 4 - 20% off decorations
Day 5 - £1 off a light up shortbread lantern
Day 6 - 29% off Samsung

12 days of crapness continues and I still wake hopeful each morning 🙄😂

Apart from the bauble which isn't my thing, nothing free and certainly nothing exciting. I just placed an order yesterday with them for £80 of thermals so I am definitely a customer!

I'd love to know who has come up with these 'gifts'. So disappointed with everything!

Free robin decoration - none in store
15% off crisps - no thank you
32% off Tonies - no idea what they are?!
20% off cushions - the last thing I'm spending ££ on at the moment is home decor
£1 off a shortbread lantern - £1? Half price may been more of an incentive
29% off Samsung - I have an iPhone...

Why not just keep it simple?
This is what I'd have done if I was in the M&S marketing team:
Free bar of chocolate, 20% of pyjamas, free chocolate coins, 30% off gin, free mince pies, 40% off wrapping paper, free mixed nuts, 50% off a Christmas throw, free pack of Christmas cards, 60% off Christmas decorations, free profiteroles, free big prize at the end!

Give us stuff we need! I'd have thundered into store for that haul. And no doubt spent on other stuff while I was there...

Ha- Samsung too. This is really rubbish. Only keeping going because of this thread. Zero incentive to go into store/purchase.

I hope the M&S marketing department's business case for this campaign didn't promise too much.

@bigTillyMint I'm waiting for a boozy offer too-gin and cocktails to be precise.

Glad it's not just me that thinks it's a bit rubbish-I did get the last handcream on Sunday but no crisps in stock and not interested in the other offers.

However, I did get a couple of 20% off knitwear vouchers this year so treated myself to some cashmere so not all bad. Could do with John Lewis upping their voucher incentives too!

I got the Samsung discount too. Definitely an odd one.

Has anyone else literally just got % money off vouchers and no actual gift? That’s all I’ve had so far and we’re up to day 6 ☹️☹️

Today - £1 off shortbread light up lantern. Useless to me along with their other 'gifts' so far.

@Lookingformymarbles, gin, rum, Prosecco, cocktails…. I got free coffee and cake for me and a friend in my last JL vouchers which was quite nice!

20% off decorations here too and when I shopped the offer they were already 30% off anyway!
