Just that really. Don't think husband likes it either and daughter cried when she saw me. Is it that bad?

I really like it!! I know that doesn’t help.

FridayNightIsWineNight · 26/11/2022 22:40

I like it. Maybe it's just a shock as you've just had it done.

DuplicateUserName · 26/11/2022 22:40

Why did your daughter cry and how old is she?

I think your fringe looks great.

carefulcalculator · 26/11/2022 22:40

It's nice! Wàs it very different before?

Corcra · 26/11/2022 22:41

Love it!! But it's obviously a big change for you. Maybe you need time to get used to it? If not clip it back when it's long enough.

jackstini · 26/11/2022 22:41

It looks fab
Kind of missing mine from a few years ago now...!

Silverstreaks · 26/11/2022 22:41

I really like it.

MajesticWhine · 26/11/2022 22:42

It looks good

EthicalNonMahogany · 26/11/2022 22:42

Clearly its a perfectly straightforward ordinary fringe. There's nothing out there about it to like or dislike? You seem to be an attractive woman with very pleasant normal hair in the least extraordinary cut I can imagine!! This sounds rude but isn't meant to be!!

Icecreamandapplepie · 26/11/2022 22:42

No child likes it when their mum looks different!

I love it. I would love a fringe that looks like that, mine never do.

I'm growing one out now. It's taking forever...

GivenchyDahhling · 26/11/2022 22:42

It looks great!

I was always happiest with my looks when I had a fringe. Once I’ve shifted this baby weight I fully intend to get it back

declutteringmymind · 26/11/2022 22:43

It must be that it's different. It will grow on all of you!

DuchessDandelion · 26/11/2022 22:43

Beautiful!

Josie6 · 26/11/2022 22:43

It's lovely - I'm getting a fringe cut in next visit to the hairdressers (frown lines are definitely winning), if it looks half as good as yours I will be happy.

(I was going to say a joke like "maybe it's your white face that made them cry - but that was just daft!)

ilovelamp2 · 26/11/2022 22:44

Thanks everyone. Length was pretty much the same before just no fringe. I'm 47 and was feeling self conscious about my wrinkly forehead so it was fringe or botox! Been thinking about it for a while and went for it today. Daughter is 11!

It looks great. Hopefully they’ll get used to it.

MetellaInHortoEst · 26/11/2022 22:44

I think it really suits you. I wish I could find a fringe shape to suit me. I always end up with a side swept compromise. You have a good face shape and a lovely hair texture and for my money it really works on you.

Children often freak out a bit when their mum changes her appearance.

Sleep on it (not literally). You need a couple of days to adjust to it. So do the family

TeaCosyApplePie · 26/11/2022 22:45

It looks lovely! Really suits your face shape! I have a really short fringe, which was a shock when I first had it but I'd feel odd without it now.

Blowyourowntrumpet · 26/11/2022 22:46

It looks really good

Haha! Yes! White face us weird! That was my thinking too - definitely can't see wrinkles now!

It’s really nice! I had a fringe put in last haircut and it’s nowhere near as nice as yours. Mine is wispy and fine and doesn’t stay.

PinkSyCo · 26/11/2022 22:49

I really like it. I’m surprised an 11 year old would cry about their mums change of hairstyle lol.

Not rude at all - very reassuring! I felt great swishing around town but then when these 2 saw it I was beginning to think I had made a big mistake. Husband has said before that he doesn't like fringes... my hair though?!

I think it looks great. Probably just a shock to you and daughter. You’ll get used to it quickly.
quite jealous actually!
