Just that really. Don't think husband likes it either and daughter cried when she saw me. Is it that bad?

I wish my fringe sat as well as yours OP

ofwarren · 27/11/2022 13:30

I much prefer it with the fringe. It looks so much thicker.
It's lovely!

ScornedChicken · 27/11/2022 13:32

I think it looks absolutely lovely. Puts mine to shame!
Can't see anything wrong with it x

PaperRhino · 27/11/2022 13:35

I think you look lovely! Wish I could rock a fringe like that. They are always a bit of a surprise though after not having one. I think you and your daughter will get used to it. And yes, it’s your hair, if you wanted to dye it bright pink it’s nobody’s business but yours!

Bestcatmum · 27/11/2022 13:37

It looks fine to me. My adult DS freaked when I died my hair blond, he said I wasn't his mum any more 😂

Spaceprincess · 27/11/2022 13:44

It's lovely! Your hair is gorgeous.
Honestly my DS used to cry when I put mine in a ponytail for work when he was little.

Regularsizedrudy · 27/11/2022 13:47

Looks great!

Kids are hilarious aren't they?! Off to work tomorrow (school) so I'm sure I'll get some 'interesting' feedback!

Happily, other half said "It's growing on me" earlier. No pun intended! I've also discovered that when I tie it back for gym, the fringe frames my face nicely. It's definitely growing on me too! Thanks all for being so lovely - hope you have all enjoyed the weekend.

I have a non verbal family member. I once came home with a new hair style and she pointed and laughed. It was disconcerting but I just think back on that memory with a giggle now. I also got fringe about a decade ago. Everyone commented. It didn't seem like such a big change to me but everyone noticed. Your fringe really makes your hair into a style, it makes your hair look more "together". In short, it looks really good and suits you!

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 27/11/2022 20:07

I think it looks lovely OP!

Derrymum123 · 27/11/2022 20:14

You look brilliant. I wish I looked half as good.

Shitfather · 27/11/2022 20:36

It looks gorgeous - not easy to carry off a fringe, but that’s a fab haircut!

rcat74 · 27/11/2022 20:44

I like it. My daughter’s were 2 and 5 when I had mine cut and they didn’t like it. I can remember one of them saying I didn’t look like me.

Happyhappyeveryday · 27/11/2022 20:44

I love it!

Campingandwine · 27/11/2022 20:46

It looks great and makes me miss mine

Fritilleries · 27/11/2022 20:48

Looks good. Will be better once you've washed it and dried it. Make sure you straighten to curve it as flat fringes look iffy.. Think it'll look better with a wee bit more length. Fringes are hard work!

lollyloo88 · 27/11/2022 20:49

You look great!!

jevoudrais · 27/11/2022 20:51

Ohhhh I think it's lovely! Looks lovely and soft. I go through phases wanting a fringe to disguise my eyebrows a bit. They are high maintenance to keep the right length and always take longer to grow out than I imagine though!

Obviously don't know what you looked like before, but I really like it Smile

TheNinthLock · 27/11/2022 20:55

I misread this as fridge and was a bit confused when I saw picture.
I like the fringe!

Sushiii · 27/11/2022 20:59

I also love it! Have been pondering getting a fringe myself and am even more inspired now as we have similar hair and face shape.

Sandysandwich · 27/11/2022 21:04

The fringe looks great, I remember my brother crying when my mum got new glasses because 'her face looks all wrong' she looked great in the glasses he just needed a few days to get used to it, he was 10.

Do it! Well, prepare for potential melt down like me mind! If it helps, here's up do messy bun with fringe. I would never have worm my hair up in public (apart from gym) for fear of extenuating the wrinkles but might do it now. Good luck with your hair endeavours!
