General chat about beauty advent calendars.

My BM calendar has literally just been delivered into my delighted hands by my postie! So happy. I’m saving this one for a Jadvent - if my two DDs don’t get their mitts on it first.

I just got incredibly over exciting watching My Fair Lady and tree decorating and OOPS I opened EVERY DOOR in my Selfridges calendar!!!!

Yes, I’m several ahead opening doors too! Not quite opened all..but I’m so tempted! 😬

My cat, who some of you may know, has been batting at the BM calendar because it’s the only thing under his Christmas tree. Rather than do the adult thing and pick it up, I’m gonna wait until he’s perforated a few more doors then use it as an excuse to open it early 😁

May we have a picture of the Christmas kitty in advent attack mode?

I will try but he tends to save his criminal activities for overnight, usually around 4am to get me up.

He’s currently watching his favourite show (bird tv).

I’ve put most of the remaining items on my Glossybox AC into the drawers of my Flannels one. I’ll do the same with Debenhams once it arrives. It didn’t all fit but I’ve been reasonably successful in not seeing what the things were 😁 I’m going to keep my flannels box for storing some of my hoard. I may have to have some dirt if index though!

I’m not having much luck with CB. Calendar ordered 3rd December from their TikTok shop, payment taken, still not dispatched.

No one has responded via TikTok chat. Customer service via their website email has been very unhelpful and say they can’t help as it was bought on TikTok. Social media messages have returned the same answer.

Oh @Pinenu that's terrible! Surely the TikTok shop is associated with them?! I have to say, Cult Beauty cust service is not great in general - last time I had an issue their online chat/email function was less than useless - but I did have more success on twitter. Sounds like that route hasn't worked for you, either though. It's scary that stuff is being flogged on TikTok without any regulations/customer service options.
Might be time to kick up a fuss on CB's social pages (publicly rather than DM)?

Agreed with the above re CB customer service (not TikTok related). I had an issue that their live chat agents were useless helping me with ( I contacted them 5 times over 10 days, and was told something different every time). In the end I wrote a negative review on trust pilot and it was sorted within 24 hours! An absolute shame that you have to go public to get an issue resolved but there we go.

My TikTok CB advent took a while to dispatch but not as long as LiB.

My BM calendar has arrived too. Well when I say mine it’s for my sister.

How is everyone “approaching” their BM calendar? I opened door one today as was in need of something to cheer me up, but I think today is too early for a 12 day countdown to Christmas? I’m too cold to work it out. Either way, I liked the first door! (once i eventually wrestled it out of the packaging).

I definitely spoke too soon. Got a message from RM tracking to say they failed to deliver. Which sounds a lot like the sorting office couldn't be arsed to bring it to my house ☹️

I got mine. It's nice and diddy! I was going to give it to DD but looking at the contents again there's too much skincare in there for her. She's only young. So I might have to keep it myself. I can either start it tomorrow for the final 12 day run up, or abandon my usual approach of nothing after Christmas and do the 12 days from 25th. Hmm.
