I agree. Very good of them. I really like the Complexion Rescue tinted moisturiser and actually bought one recently. The advent calendar I bought is for my sister for Christmas. Hope she likes it!

I ordered one of the Benefit bargains too. It’s not a brand I’ve ever used. Do you think the contents of the advent calendar would be suitable for someone with a darker skin tone?

My hair edit box from CB arrived today and I’m so impressed with it for £28.

I wanted the Virtue styler for my partner which is normally £32 so just got the box and figured I’d keep the rest for myself. Feeling a bit greedy now though and might gift some more bits… like the tissue paper.

So after my H finding 2 drawers in my Selfridges calendar empty, I’ve now found that there’s no door number 3, the lipstick from day 1 looks like it has been used and one of that perfumes is half empty/full but doesn’t appeared to have leaked.

@Zoetrope1 that’s what I’m guessing too. I can’t believe people do things like this, it’s so grim.

I’m now not keen on using any of the makeup that isn’t in sealed packaging and generally feel a bit put off knowing someone has had their sticky paws all over it.

I’ve updated my email to them so will let you know what they say.

@Adventadventures it was delivered very quickly, ahead of others on here who had ordered before me, so I wonder if that fits with coming from a store.

Never mind, at least I discovered the problems now as I was saving it for next year so that would have been a pain.

Don’t believe for one tiny second CB sold out! Clearly it didn’t. They massively misjudged
the market this year then handled the discounting really, really badly.

@Peridot1 ...yes Ive lurked on this thread for ages...and bought two calendars cohorted and cult beauty ...but couldn't resist harrods for £175 ....am weak !
