I agree. People have been able to buy similar value calendars at half price so why pay double for a battered one?

CB has 13 full size items. LiB has 21 full size items and were able to go half price or a huge discount with a brilliant beauty box.

It’s almost as odd as Space NK putting the calendar back on at full price.

My Selfridges just arrived! It’s beautiful!

@EmmatheStageRat I think I was about six when I had two.. I turned out just fine Those advent calendar chocolates just taste so much nicer!

My husband surprised me with the Sephora advent Callander this morn. I adore Sephora and it’s one I have not had. So shocked to open up day 1 to 2x full size products. A Elemis toner spray and (can’t remember te brand) but a roship cleanser. Certainly off to a great start with 2 full size premium products in first box

I agree…considering it has had numerous prices, yo-yoing all over the place. At least other places reduced and sold really quickly…it’s bad for people who bought at full price, but this dragging it out is distasteful!

Harrods seems to have sold out very quickly at £175. Not surprising, it was very worthwhile at that price. I was at a work event and missed it, unfortunately.

Work event was very close to Oxford Street, so I went to JL and Selfridges for a browse. Selfridges is now sold out in store too - they said they went very quickly at the reduced price. JL had some L’Occitane and Rituals (the basic one) half price in store. I had a £5 rewards voucher, so ended up getting the L’Occitane one for £22.50 - too good to pass up, even if it is just sample sized products. Rituals at £37.50 was pretty good too - but didn’t fancy lugging it back home by tube and train

It is! I feel like there are so many beauty brands and stores now that if a particular retailer wants to retain customers it has to be consistent and straight forward. I can’t be bothered with the games.

Not keen myself, but wanted to share in case others were.

I've fancied the Next one all along as there's a lot of things in there I like but didn't want to pay full price, it's been reduced to £70 for the last week or so but doesn't seem to be going any lower despite it now being December. If it went down to £60 or below it would be straight in my basket.

@PanicAtTheBigTesco They didn’t reduce last year, just took them off sale altogether in the end. Then sold them reduced this Christmas, so you may have a bit of a wait!
